The ones that use refined metal only can stay as they are, but this way you don't need to worry about refining all your raw metal. Plus I want that +200 C overheat temp on steel on aquatuners. Soulwind Posted July 22, 2018 Share Posted July 22, 2018 Building from both raw ore and refined metals would be my preference, but I think it makes sense for the smooth hatches to eat refined and excrete raw ore or maybe another variant type so that it could be done in either direction. Another set of blueprints for the rock granulator would work too [both the smooth hatch and the granulator would then be causing material loss to occur upon conversion]. This would give us some quite nice advantages regarding heat transfer, since the refined metals have very high thermal conductivity(~60, so 10 times better than ores). If you could make buildings from refined metals, you could cool/heat them 100 times faster, which is almost unfairly advantageous?
