Wheezlewort Gas Deletion

Recommended Posts

Hello All!

First time posting but long time reader.

While creating a cooling room to cooldown my boiled water for my hydroponic Bristleberries.

I’ve noticed that the Wheezleworts in my cooling room had created a vacuum, there were no pumps and no airflow tiles, but know i had hydrogen in there.

I’ve not had this problem before the cosmic update (not that I’d noticed)

has anyone else had this issue?

This could be useful if people wanted to make Vacuum sealed areas before/after Large temperature difference rooms. Without using electric.

Thanks!

I saw pockets of blue vacuum appearing around an operating hydrofan in thermal view and come to think of it that location acquired an unexpectedly low density atmosphere. I had CO2 low enough to stop mealwood growing with an oxygen layer > 1kg above it connected by a 1 tile gap.

I took this screeny for a different bug but you can just see in the lower right Ellie operating the hydrofan. The middle mealwood farm tile strip meets the wall/floor and makes a seal. In that pocket the density dropped a lot.

That's normal for every building that absorbs and re-emits gas. If the pressure is low enough, you will get a pocket of vacuum that appears briefly and then gets filled in.

Yes it is known that deconstructing wall/tempshift create tiles that act as the space in the surface biome-deleting gas until a reload which sets it back to normal.

Do just reloading the game will solve this? Or do i need to validate steams files?
