How often do people set up tentacles at Dragonfly?

Do you usually aim for seting up a tentacle auto-death trap for Bee Queen?

I see this done for bee queen so often. If set up for Dragonfly this would be the best gem farming method, but for some reason I have never seen people do it. You do need to kill the Dragonfly at first to do this, and then have 20 days to create it, but if you get everything you need beforehand, why does none do it? Because it's a fun fight?

Bee Queen constantly gets cheesed for some reason. There is a level of interactivity, I guess, but for some reason people seems to leave other stuff to kill Bee Queen in a state of "auto-farming" much more often than Dragonfly. I guess when you have tentacles around, you have the choice to fight her yourself or let the tentacles deal with her, or something in the middle, while with Dragonfly, you may not have that choice, but that could still be set up, so why don't people use Tentacles? Read about ~20 books of On Tentacles and you'll be auto farming gems and furnace blueprints for quite some time. It'll take about a minute for her to die, as most of the health would already be taken away before the first time she starts to spew lavaes.

It may be more often than I think, but usually, it's jut a wall across a pool of lava, where you yourself have to take part in beating her, and can't just sit out the fight while doing something else, save some time and just grab the loot once the boss is killed.

Often times on my long term servers that I've been on, for some reason the demand for crowns, jellies and wraps have been higher than that of D'fly's gems or scales. The reason behind this is we need at least one wrap blueprint for each player, while only one player needs to have the scaled furnace to build it for everyone. Additionally, we also usually try to get one beequeen crown per player for the Fuelweaver fight. We don't really find ourselves in much need for gems or scales, as we usually get enough gems from the ruins and we can farm scales without killing D'fly.

Hmm, that's quite the odd choice; green gems are scarse, having them farmed every 20 days seems like the wiser choice. In 1000 days, the result would be roughly 75 green gems (1000 / 20 * 1.5). Ruins may take a bit more effort and Weaver itself isn't so accessible. I guess it's x10 the effort for x10 the amount of green gems, but people don't usually go for Weaver so often or empty ruins this regularly.

i had the bee queen farm and the tentacles were getting weak so made some bunny man houses and now there are bunnymen around the bee queen since the death of many many tentacles i had 13 so i used 8 for a dragonfly farm you cant tons of scales and gems the only problem is with thulecite but since you can get 1-2 per dragonfly fight its nothing
edit: though my bee queen crowns are very VERY low both of them are 1 digit
