Does this still destroy the steam or does it run purely off of pressure and heat? FIXBUGFIXBUGFIX
1 minute ago, BlueLance said: Unfortunately this is not the case, I posted a bug report about it. Once a gas exists on the opposite side of a steam turbine, gas will "Sometimes" flow through a part of it as if it was an airflow tile. Both the generators in that picture were never turned on, but because there was CO2 it has let it come through. The design is unplugged and it is also switched off via automation. Maybe a thin layer of oil can prevent this. I have tried that strategy, but I can't recall my result Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/91273-steam-turbine-temp-and-mass-changes/page/2/#findComment-1053477 Share on other sites

I think it only destroys steam if there is a vacuum being created aftrwards or if another tile deletes it Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/91273-steam-turbine-temp-and-mass-changes/page/2/#findComment-1053480 Share on other sites
Sevio
@BlueLance All of what I've seen of the Steam Generator so far to me makes me think that implementing it like this was a mistake. If the steam turbine simply required a steam pressure of 3 kg+ around itself and ejected condensed water into a pipe a lot of problems, quirks and bugs could be avoided. At the the worst time, turbine will destroy all the steam it absorbed. 3 minutes ago, clickrush said: Ok we have conflicting messages here. Sevio
@clickrush and anyone else interested, feel free to have a look for yourself, save attached. Just to prevent misunderstandings, I don't claim to have invented this as I saw this being demonstrated in a video in this post: I merely refined it a bit, added some automation and added some explanation. BlueLance
I though petroleum cooked at a lower temperature than that, I could use that then, it usually doesnt go above 600 degrees for long XD Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/91273-steam-turbine-temp-and-mass-changes/page/2/#findComment-1053925 Share on other sites
