I'm ready for Glass Tiles and Aquarium decorations.

I think it would be fun if we had glass tiles and plastic aquarium decorations (castles, logs, seaweed, coral, etc).  This would allow us to convert pacu fish farms into actual decorative set pieces. 

Glass tiles would have other uses, naturally.  We could use them to allow decor through tiles without allowing gas or liquid to pass through, to protect bristle berry farms from the heat generated by lights, to use shine bugs to illuminate our bristle berry farms without them nibbling on the berries, etc.

even though i cant think of a practical use for glass tiles apart from decor bonus.

Maybe they could add mirrors to reflect and spread light.

Glas could be the light permeable wall thingie that let light through but not air and liquid

Iam very much in favor of this. Not only might glass tiles have practical use, they would also add something to allow for neater base designs.

It'd be nice to have glass tiles for windows ad observation bay, just to make our bases look nicer. Maybe have colored glass tiles with exra ecoration bonus.

Could be also useful for making catwalk in those odd places you dont want to block light, like gristtle berries frm. They could be good for temp control in greenhouses.as OP said.

Also while not a tile per se, solid glass could be a good material for tempshift plates.

I like the idea of glass as a light-permeable tile that retains liquid/gas, but for this to be useful Klei would need to make LIGHT more useful.

There is currently zero reason to use light other than 1-2 for a bristle berry farm. If light provided work-related bonuses, such as faster actions and jobs completed, or faster movement speed, or increased growth rate for critters, I can see a need for glass tiles.

Glass could also be a refined material that provides a good reason for creating fertilizer/dirt/sand cookers, and give a use for all that sand that can be produced.

Light does provide a decor bonus as well, I believe.

But the idea of having it making job faster, is a good one.

I like your ideas alot. Glass tiles that let decor out +, sculptures for fish + but only if it will make fish domesticaltion at least a bit faster : )
