What if we had swimming pools as a high tier stress reliever?

Requirements:

>=8x3 Space (Including tiles) / Water at 60F-80F degrees (No PH2O) / Pool Pump / Swimsuits

The water in the pool will remove the Grimy debuff, reduce stress 5-10x faster than the massage table, if they spend atleast .1 cycles in the swimming pool, they will receive a buff (Therapeutic)  that reduces their stress by 20% per cycle for 1 cycle. Swimmers transfer 50-75% surface/host germs from swimmers into the water; this will not reduce the amount of germs in the host, but will remove most/all surface germs. The temperature of the water must be strictly monitored and controlled to prevent hypothermia/hyperthermia, as being exposed to either extreme in liquid will cause these ailments much faster.

The Pool Pump (made of plastic) should be supplied with bleach stone to keep the water clean. The filter will not leak chlorine gas into the air, but will be consumed over time as it sterilizes the water. Duplicants bathing in contaminated water will receive 50-75% of the average amount of germs in the water, both surface germs as well as host germs; this will not remove the germs from the pool, however. The pool pump will occasionally spit out polluted dirt.

It is strongly recommended to line the pool with Plastic Tile, other tiles may give any present diseases a place to thrive, reducing the effectiveness of the pool pump. A regular liquid pump may be placed in the pool to use any method needed to keep the water at the appropriate temperature. Removing the Grimy ailment has a 10% chance to contaminate the water with Firefoot.

New disease: Firefoot - This disease affects a duplicant's feet, starting with a red, itchy rash, causing them to stop what they're doing and scratch the itch on occasion. If the disease is not treated and progresses to an advanced stage, they will temporarily lose 1 Athletic point per cycle, up to 5 total, and if infection reaches 100%, they will lose 2 Athletic points permanently.  This disease is primarily found in the water of dirty swimming pools. Pacu may be hosts for the disease (healthy carriers) as well. Swimming in the pool, taking showers, and washing oneself at a sink/wash basin will not remove this disease.

New Item: Foot Powder - Used to treat Firefoot, can be made in an apothecary station, requires Balm Lily + Bleach stone to make. Hand sanitizers could just be renamed to "Sanitizer" and could be used to remove initial infections before the disease causes symptoms to the host.

Swimsuits will be made with Reed Fiber, and be required for duplicants to use the swimming pool. The lack of clothing makes them more susceptible to extreme temperatures, giving them hypothermia/hyperthermia more easily, and is not recommended to be used outside of a swimming area.

Any numbers here can easily be tweaked for balance. All I got so far, thoughts?

The Pool Pump (made of plastic)...

Plastic buildings melt at 75oC, so this would need to be re-balanced, but I like the idea. Currently there's almost zero reason to have a clean pool of water in the home base after a geyser source is secured.

70 degrees F = 21.111~ C. I blame USA for being educated with Fahrenheit.

I think it’s a start of a good idea but I see a few issues with it. 80,000 kg of water is ALOT of water to put aside to relive stress when a massage table will get it done eventually. But the pool idea is great, so maybe scaled back a bit and make it a hot tub jacuzzi style. That way it could be built with plastics and refined metal and still use bleach stone as a consumable. This could be a “high end” stress reliever. The problem with your original suggestion is how much energy and resources would go into such a small reward as stress relief. When you add the fact that they could get a disease from going in the pool I would NEVER build one, it’s just not worth it. People don’t build showers now because they waste time never mind the tiny amount of resources compared to the pool you are suggesting.
