Sinister_Fang Posted April 25, 2018 Share Posted April 25, 2018 It should. Crafting anything should give points to the crafty trait. Personally, I think the only "useful" trait is plump. But even then the only real benefit is that you need to feed it less often. It's not really worth it most of the time. A bit of extra info if you didn't know already: You can feed jellybeans to your pet to lock it's current trait. I've heard that the Hallowed Nights candy and Winter's Feast treats work too if you happen to have any laying around still. Critters aren’t really used much except for cosmetic reasons and to generally get rid of food you don’t need or want. I wish they had more usefulness to them though. That’s true too, but other than that, they’re not quite useful. I wish Klei would give them more abilities like sanity regain or maybe a boost in combat, but they’re literally just useless as of now. Who knows though, maybe Klei will give us something sooner or later for them other than skins.
