Slime Biome Without exosuits

all you have to do is leave a pool of polluted water at bottom, its a bit tricky coz you have to carefully dig specific tiles in order to spread the water, once you get it right itll be easy for the rest of the mining, but if you make a single mistake it could lead to slimelung outbreak

I spam deodorizers and store them instant in a submerged locker. When your dupes rearrange the slime out of the fluid(without exo), it could cause havoc.. I use a washbin when they leave the "dirty" zone..

there's a little project going on in there, cleaning slime and turning to algae i haven't name it yet.
 do slime in conveyors emit polluted oxygen?

I don't understand this, I thought that having more surface area of PW would give you more tics of offgassing? Because, each tile of PW has a fixed chance per tic to convert a percentage of its mass into PO2.

I always try to collect the PW into a deep pool with as little surface area as possible, you wind up with very little PO2 to clean.

If the slime compactor is in ice biome (and under PW to prevent offgasing) slimelung dies in 2 cycles

Its because the slime which is the source of slimelung cannot offgas whilst under water.

Although Oozinator does the same thing as me, I just convert it all to oxygen and this pretty much does the job, yes the slimelung is there but at least it doesnt get any worse.

ah, I see. My solution to that has been mostly just to herd the pufts and then compress whatever slime they left behind underwater.

I am actually concerned that slimelung is a lil bit underpowered(even though its supposed to die on oxygen but it still spreads in the vicinity of slime)
