3 NGGs can eat up more gas than a geyser provides. (180g/sec versus the geyser average of 160 g/sec)

If you only use the natural room, it's true but in fact, the Natural Gaz Geyser get overpressured when the gaz pression is around 5Kg. So if you manage to never get this pression, the geyser will produce permanently Natural Gaz so you can assign a lot of Generators.

Here's my set up that is working really great :

And it constantly increases given I use Smart Battery :

I use the sequentially doors automation of Brothgar that allow to compress a gaz or a liquid with no limits in a room. As well, my geyser never stop to produce natural gaz.

Here's my whole set up with CO2 compression, I can add a lot more generators but now don't need more.

Here's the automation (found by Brothgar) :

Buffers and filter are set to 1 second.

Thats nice but if your NGGs would run 100% of the time you would run out of natural gas because you would use 180 g/sec and the geyser only produces a max of 160g/sec on average. Of course the geyser produces less than 160g/sec average if on bursts the pressure reaches 5kg but that can be avoided without door compression just use a slightly bigger room like 5x5 to leave space for the gas to expand while you pump it out to the NGGs.

Setting up Gas Generators next to a Thermo nullifer is interesting as it can allow you produce Polluted Ice rather than Polluted Water.

Cold Gas generators can actually provide a very large amount of cooling as you are constantly creating very cold ice and CO2.

You can even dispose of the CO2 by having it freeze once it exits the vent.

In theory you're true, in the game my set up allow me to have infinite Natural Gaz as the Electrolyzer produces infinites O2 with the same doors. You can see on my screens that I over produced, going from 80 Kg to 110 Kg with still have my generators running.

and the batteries beyond your NGGs never fill up to 100%? Are you absolutely certain you use up 180 g/sec of natgas? Also oxygen should not be infinite either, it just produces the nominal max amount if you take the gas away all the time. Which is 532.8 kg of oxygen / electrolyzer / cycle?

how much does a geyser produce? 100g/s or 160g/s?
because the calculations used for 7 generators was 100g/s, but according to a wiki (which is updated) a geyser produces 160.714g/s which if recalculated will result to 8 natural gas generators (and eventually fert synth and skimmer may increase too)

based from Nat Gas Guide (similar to brothgar) and the updated Gas Geyser info

11 nat gas gens, 25 fert synth, and 3 scrubbers, with that setup you'll use all nat gas produced by geyser and fertilizer synthesizer, but you'll have a surplus of 7.5g/s of CO2 and will be lacking 7.5g/s of polluted water, so not bad but its too large
can anyone redo the math?

@bzgzd calculated 12, 16, and 4, with one of the skimmers only working partially.

Problem is that wiki is unofficial and often has old info.

This wiki page is no more correct. (7 NatGas gens, 16 Fert Synths, and 2 Air Skimmers)

Correct numbers now are 12 NatGas gens, 26 Fert Synths, and 4 Air Skimmers (just slightly more than 3 => 3.083...)

The reason is that NatGas geyser is no more emitting 100 g/sec but about 160.714 g/sec
