There seems to be a ongoing theme with cats and you might want to introduce them in a future event. Also, they can even be the best at talking out of hunchbacks since cats are pretty smart animals. This concept art looks like it was made loooong before SW was even an idea, and I see flup there. So it might be possible they'd re-use the idea eventually.
