Me and my gf want to play DST with two computers in the same room (so, with the same wifi), but we just have one DST game (and one Steam account). How can we play together? Create another Steam account? Connect with the same account but in a local world? I don't want to pay a second time JUST for that... Thks! Starthefox Posted December 11, 2016 Share Posted December 11, 2016 If I am correct, you should have a gift copy of DST which came with the purchase of Don't Starve Together. Create a new steam account and gift your extra copy to the second account and once it downloads on the second computer it should be done. I've only gifted games once, so I may be wrong. If you don't have two copies you might have to buy another copy for the second account. It's weird : i'm not familiar with Steam, but buy a "multiplayer game" and can't play in the same room with an other person, arrr... that's sound dumb haha. If anyone have a solution, I'll take it! It's not like you can play online with it or anything... It could just be used for local play... You will have to get yourself another copy or check out the trading forums on Steam, there are often people offering a gift copy of DST. If it still isn't there you can contact Klei via email and I'm sure they would give you another copy. You need to navigate to INVENTORY, then STEAM, finally GIFTS. If you bought DST, the gift copy is there (unless somebody redeemed it for you).
