Most Satisfying Thing for you in DST?

Recommended Posts

On my friend's dedicated server, since I'm an admin, I like to change up the landscape. Like, make a fancy carpet for the Pig King, or plan out some creative "site" and change the turf and such. Making a made up shrine to birdy. Things like that.

I also like joining up with other players in battle. When I host, my favorite mods are archery and turf. I like to kill things and make carpets out of them. c: Even better when someone joins me.

Most satisfying is playing with someone who doesn't panic and is there to have fun. Bossy/high anxiety players stress me out so I will help for a while, but then I end up running away to live amongst the pigs. Once the basics are out of the way, the players are who really make the game what it is.

Any and every time I use the "On Tentacles" book. The game only spawns three tentacles - but my pants spawn an extra one >:)

Haha but really though - something about the shear power and utility of using that book makes me so happy!

I used to use it in PVP servers to "indirectly" pvp with people by sabotaging their bases. I also used it to get revenge on people on cooperative servers (mass spawn tentacles in people's bases if they were hoarders/dicks) This was even better when you could haunt it as a ghost.

Using it and kiting giants into the tentacles, getting easy spikes and more tentacle spots, as well as giant's loot.

Finding Gears in Tumble weeds, and starting Spider wars in that one Spider den set in a Rock biodome as Webber.

Yeah, pretty much that. As an adorer of Webber and Webber-related products, nothing is more satisfying to me than dancing through a massive brawl of spiders, swiping up silk, glands and monster meat left and right.

--Standing in the middle of a fire and NOT burning, as Willow (unnerfed/singleplayer version).  Seriously, traipsing merrily through a forest fire  is like, the funnest thing ever.

--Finding a gear (as WX or not) on DAY 2.  I'm not kidding, that actually happened last night.  My previous earliest record was Day 7!  (The spawn point was close enough to a desert that by just going a moderate bit to the west, I started finding tumbleweeds.  Found the first one when it blew into my temporary camp on Night 1, followed it, found the desert, searched all the tumbles and found the gear the very next day.)

--Similarly, finding Chester or the beefalo within the first few days.  As opposed to all the times I've had when it takes game-MONTHS to find one or the other, or I don't find them at all...

--Standing in the middle of a bunch of tooth traps and grinning evilly during a frog rain.  BWAHAHAHA!  Bunwiches, anyone?

...Notorious

I've been trying to figure out what this means. But I can't seem to find out. Mind sharing it with this unknowing chap?

Yes, I can be very ignorant about all sorts of things.
