  1. 1. Whiteouts?

    • Sounds miserably great! I can't wait to suffer through this!
    • Sounds like a frost bite in the rear. No thank you.

    • Either way. I'm like a bland muffin and have no preferences.

    • (In order not to offend those that don't care) I don't really care either way.
  2. 2. Supercells?

    • By all means. BRING IT ON, ZEUS!!
    • I'd rather not, thanks.
    • Either way, I don't really care. As long as it doesn't take my frog rain away.
    • Please, replace those green scourges with the supercell.

What would you think of having weather events in DST? They would each happen during a certain season. For example:

Winter: Could have a Whiteout. An extreme snowstorm, causing temperature to drop much faster, and having the screen mostly covered by snow. Torches, campfires, lanterns, etc would let you see a bit better, but you would want to hunker down and wait it out.

Spring: I guess this one already has Frog-Rain, but for the sake of the thread I'll suggest one. The Supercell. Basically a massive thunderstorm. It would have heavy rain, high amounts of lightning, the lighting would be dim, and it would have hail and wind like in SW.

I would have had one for summer and autumn, but autumn is (seemingly) meant to be friendly, and not much actually happens in autumn in real life. And I would suggest possible forest fires in summer, but that already happens too much. Dang smoldering butterflies . . .

well I like it just as we ger warnings for both and the lignting in the supercell doesn't try to seek you out like sometmes hit by lightning twice in a row come on.

If they turned down the forest fires for summer in default I wouldn't be opposed to a heat wave a giant mass of heat that combusts anything it touches and goes from one end to the another or part way better have those flingomatics

Even thou I know they would never consider this ideaWhy would want an effect that makes you have to squint at your screen to tell if you're looking at a potato cup or a piece of manure? Shipwrecked had ash blocking the screen and that was terribly annoying for someone with poor eyesight.

The warning would probably be wind picking up and the characters saying something along the lines of "that cloud looks awfully big . . ."

Fair enough. The main idea for it was that it was something you could get lost in, but I see what you mean. That ash was killer in SW XD

Would just some fog that isn't really thick be a good substitueso you could sill see a fair bit but not as much as normal and lights would be dimmer so it makes it easier to get lost but the minimap is a pretty good map so getting lost would actually take some fair effort
