Hey Everybody!

If you weren't already aware, we are currently in the middle of beta testing Don't Starve Together on PS4. 

For the first round of tests, we asked for people who have experience playing DST so that we could get a quick test of easily identifiable issues with network and game performance. This helped us identify and focus on the most pressing and immediate issues that we wanted to find right away. 

We have a patch out to address the most critical issues from phase on, so on to phase 2!

Now, we are ready for everybody else who would like to test. Anybody who would like to participate is welcome to join us for phase 2.

Am I allowed to sign up for a friends account using my email? I really want to get him into the beta but he doesn't have an email he can use right now.

Question; has the fact that your game doesn't pause and you waste time using a controller to select/organise your inventory been brought up yet? This can have some serious issues gameplay wise. I would suggest that using left or right joystick to control a cursor on screen to select things on the ground and especially the inventory so that it works sort of like for a PC version? Cause in DST, game never stops and if you're using a controller whilst in a multiplayer scenario, you'd be wasting time selecting stuff in/sorting out your inventory. And especially in a PvP scenario (even though not many care about PvP too much) this can pretty much mean life and death. Actually, the same goes for PvE due to things like Frog rains, Hound attacks, Deerclops/Bearger, Night etc.

EDIT: Also are PS4 servers seperate from PC servers or are they linked as it stands? If not, what have you got planned for that? What about player-hosted dedicated servers on PS4?

If you have already signed up here: https://ps4beta.kleientertainment.com/

Then you should receive an email next week(?) with your BETA key if you were accepted, since there is a limited number of BETA spots and there's the chance they've been all taken already.
