This has most likely been brought up several times but what would you think if having part of a set (Shadow, survivor, formal) or the complete set for a character change certain things depending on the character?

like the formal head would make his werebeaver form more groomed looking? or his shadow form give him a darker fur more like a werepigs ?

Or for wendy it could change abigail? Iunno..

i'm not sure about others. Maybe maxwells clones...or the beards for Webber or Wilson?

What do you think?

I clicked on this post with tf2 unusuals in mind. Which I think DST should avoid. I like your ideas OP, but @Mikeadatrix...that's exactly what I mean. I think the shadow smoke trail only worked with the torch. Skins shouldn't have unnecessary shadowy trails just because you have the full set.

I guess I agree, I don't want a whole tf2-route, I just more had in mind certain sets would change the werebeaver or Abigail like in the old concept art. But I can see it might lead to a whole dreaded Tf2-economy too. Though as long as unboxing is free we are mostly free from that path.

I do agree with maybe the elegant heads granting special effects for the character's abilities (say for example, Woodie's werebeaver changing to fit the skin, maybe Abigail also changing, that sortof thing, not sure how it'd work for every character, but it'd be neat for the characters who have those types of things)

Not sure about abigail, she's kinda a seperate character from wendy.

Klei could be nice, and make it so Abigail changes when Wendy changes, OR make it like the torch, crockpot, backpack skins, and you have to craft a abigail flower skin to make her look pretty.

Practice makes perfect, and asking for friends for help doesn't hurt either. c:

well I don't have many friends here, and RC gives up quickly as I said before :( unless you meant help with practicing art.
