I set the image to upload and the bar reaches 100% and then I get the error Have you tried clearing your Chrome's Cached images and files?  > More Tools > Clear Browsing Data > Tick Cached images and files only > Clear browsing data After that, try and reupload your new images. You've probably have a lot of temporary cached images on your chrome which is why it could be causing an error.
