MoloMan Posted April 3, 2016 Share Posted April 3, 2016 Oh boy here we go... Hi. About two months ago I started thinking about new expansions to DS. And I came up with this really cool expansion idea. Now my question is, What should my post look like? The problem is that I have a BIG imagination. I've come up with so much for this expansion idea that I don't know if I can fit it in one post. I've got seasons, bosses, new interesting features, characters, biombes, equipment, mobs and ALOT more. What should my post look like? Should I make one big novel with all the ideas I have? Should I just tell the basics in the beggining and add posts to the topic from time to time? (maybe finish some cool concept art while I'm at it) I know how frustrating it can be to read a wall of text but my idea is a litteral great wall of china!!! I just wanna know what an experienced forumer thinks. And as a last note, I'll add my promotional poster for the expansion idea. I haven't been on the forums for as long as some other members but I think this looks really cool. Maybe you could write everything out in paragraphs to make it easier to read. Some concepts may help as well. I'd simply put it all in spoilers, and separate each categora... kinda like this: BIOMES: Spoiler Tundra: Spoiler "Info." Candyland: Spoiler "Info." Really nice poster, by the way! I can't wait to see your ideas! Maybe they could grow up into becoming a big mod? Or maybe actually go into the game! Wicker may be a bit hard to learn, but makes making whole new worlds easier after all. You can find it on simplex' github.
