But I assume you mean that you are using a so-called "crack", an illegal copy. You cannot update that, because it is illegal to begin with. Klei won't be able to help you if you're not using an official version of their game, sorry. Cracking a game is illegal, and I don't think you'll be getting any help from other forum members here who support Klei's work. I'd recommend you to buy it on GoG or Steam. You'd have the latest version of the game and would be able to download and play with mods more easily.
