I agree with Mobbstar here. His wool barely has any use as it is right now, except for saddles for Beefalo riding, and that thing was basically made to be killed with the help of others... If he got half hp, it would not be too hard to kill him 1v1 with 1-2 log suits. There are other means to kill ewecus by urself even in DST. 1)facetanking with 3-4 log suits (with 1x damage mult) 2)get bunch of pigs to let them attack him. 3)if you are wickerbottom, books can come in handy. Only reason I want is these 2 versions, DS and DST become like different games and I just dont want these games to be completely different versions in near future. I mean I wonder if DS will get through the ages update too? Lotta mechanics are already really different and title of these 2 games are misleading. When you look at the title "Together" part gives u an idea that this game is the multiplayer version of DS solo. But game mechanics are completely different.. That's kinda the point. DS and DST are supposed to have their own unique qualities. DS for example, has: -Old bell -Shipwrecked -Multiple leveled caves -Adventure Mode -etc DST on the other hand, has: -Ewecus -Through the Ages -One giant cave system -Tweaked characters -Beefalo riding -etc It'll be boring if DST is a carbon copy of DS with another player plopped into the world. Gingerbread Posted March 11, 2016 Author Share Posted March 11, 2016 well not really seeking them to be carbon copy (as I said my suggestion is to give him half hp instead of real hp of Ewecus in DST) but DS looks really primitive compared to DST at this point. ofcourse talkin about DS RoG. SW is a different expansion. none of the new things and variety is available for DS RoG. IMO all creatures and variety should be available in both (but could have different hp, different attack periods, different seasons and times when they are available) The thing i understand is, these games look completely different in near future.. For starters it looks frustrating to fight without another player. Otherwise it looks like an enemy i would rather fight using the SW spearguns and well i got s**t to do and don't want to go over to the SW worlds just to gather 3 bamboo and 1 Jellyfish just so i don't have to get annoyed about not getting the Koalafant when i'm hunting for one. Also the Wool as well as the Warsaddle seems pretty ehh not really fitting for the SP component. Remember DST takes supposedly place after DS SP and by that time Wilson learned enought about the World to exploit it's natural ressources and was able to build the Portal. While in the SP component he just got dropped into the DS worlds so i doubt that he has the knowledge nor the skill or even the courage to ride beefalos.
