Wiffleball lead Kate down the stairs and into the hold, where the air, while stale, didn't actively reek of rot and seawater. When he turned back to check if Kade was following, though, he noticed something flicker in his peripheral vision - but when he tried to look at it, it flitted out of his view.

(Of all the pets on the boat, I think that Crab is the most warlike)

Aha! The crab was atop the kur, now! The crab started pinching angelle's back now, clinging on for dear life, unrelenting in it's adorable assault. The whole scene resembled Shadow of the Colossus somewhat.

Noctimus brought the broken fishing pole, and the mysterious bottle over to his corner so he could lick the nightmare fuel off of them.

"Hello there!" Trevor said as he greeted Kate and Wiffleball as they came down the stairs. "Nice coat there. Reminds me of home."

Wiffleball looked up at Trevor. He figured now was a good a time to try some of what the shadow had mentioned earlier, and what better way than through a good ol' fashioned conversation?

"THAИKƧ! I FOUИD IT EAЯLIƎЯ."

(Only Trevor can hear him, by the way.)

Wiffleball jolted upright - there was no mistaking it; he'd heard someone whisper something to him - a name, it sounded like. In fact, now they were talking. And getting louder... He grabbed his ears, pulling them down. How was Trevor not hearing this?

Kate stepped closer to Wiffleball and knelt down, clearly concerned. First Trevor was having half a conversation with her mute plush friend, and now her friend looked like he was hearing or seeing something that wasn't there. She was getting worried.
