Mark could hear some distant rumblings, so he assumed they weren't dead. Or that at least some of them weren't.

He looked around and... everyone seemed to be alright! That was fant- WAS THAT A DRAGON?

Mark blinked a few times, took his glasses and cleaned them a bit with his shirt... yeap. That was a dragon.

"What... the... heck..."

Oh, this humans person was trying to bribe her to friendship with food offerings. That was another thing they did sometimes. Definitely not something to complain about, but it would work better with bigger foods, or even a shiny. The dragon carefully took the tiny organ with her mouth and swallowed it, then lifted her front paw and very very gently pat the humans person on the head three times. She was proud of herself for successfully adopting that humans custom. She was also proud of herself for learning how gentle she needed to be with the fragile humans persons. That one took some trial and error.

The dragon turned her head toward the new new humans person and- oh my gosh a shiny! The humans. Wore a shiny. On his face. Wide eyed, the dragon pranced up to this newer humans person and began sniffing him, lingering just a bit too long by his face shiny.

"Ehhhhh..." That dragon... was dangerously close... to him...

He didn't like that. He didn't like that at all.

But hey, it didn't horribly maul Julian to death, so maybe it wouldn't do that to him either.

He adjusted his glasses and looked at the dragon.

"Uhm... hey! How are you?" He waved.

"You're not going to hurt me... eh?"

(White dragon? What white dragon?)

The dragon didn't bother trying to respond, as she knew she couldn't speak humans persons language. She just kept staring at him. She really really wanted that shiny, but she figured the humans person wouldn't respond to well to her taking it right off his face.

"... Do you even speak English? Uhm... Hablas Español? Português, talvez? Parli italiano? Latina omnia? Tabun nihonjin?"

He kept staring back at the dragon, unaware of what it wanted. He wasn't the smartest out there.

"I'm starting to run out of languages I know here. Do you even speak any languages we know? Or are you only fluent in... whatever it is dragons speak? ... And could you please stop looking at me like that?"

Slowly, Julian crept up next to the dragon's tail, and jumped up onto it's back, before taking two steps, and steadying herself on his (her? It? What was the correct pronoun for a dragon?) neck. She breathed out, and dropped down so that she was facing Mark.

"Nothing like the Ursa's back home... He's gorgeous..."

Trevor realizes something terrible, and decides to try and warn the new guy. The new guy was less busy so he saw this as a nice opportunity to get the new guy's attention. He whistles and urges him to come into the forest so that they may talk without Julian spying on them.
