Out of memory

Get more memory.

Even though this answer is incredibly simple and obvious, it may actually be the correct answer. If your computer doesn't have enough memory to run the game when the memory load gets a little heavier, it won't be able to run. Simple as that.

What are your specs? HDD size, HDD free space, RAM, Processor... and maybe the graphics card too? But I think the first 3 things are probably the most important for you to share.

I"m using a laptop and here are my specs:

Video Card: GT 840m

Processor: Intel Core i7-4510U CPU 2.00GHZ(4 CPUs)

OS: Windows 8.1

Memory Ram: 8GB

HDD Size: 1TB

HDD Free Space: 416GB

I don't think I need more space, but anyway I hosted a game with no mods and it went perfectly fine we both got to day 6 and disconnected from the game to play some League. After the Lol game I wanted to play on the server by myself, I started the server and after 2 minutes of loading the "Out of Memory" message appeared.

I'll change my answer from "Get more memory" to a question - what address type is your operating system?  Is it running an 8.1 32 bit by any chance (I can't fathom how that would be possible but you never know with laptop assemblies nowadays).

Your system should definitely be able to breeze through the game, and you also have plenty more to host the server.  Your CPU should be able to keep up with the load as well.  It could also be the recent update as has already been mentioned.  I would say file a technical complaint with Klei see what comes up - otherwise look into how your OS is managing your resources cause there's clearly something wrong somewhere.
