Michi01 Posted June 3, 2015 Share Posted June 3, 2015 So I'm playing adventure mode(a cold reception).Winter starts at day 5, no problem I'm prepared.At day 9, the ground is coloured normal again and thebirchnut trees are slowly losing their leaves. Suddenlyit starts raining. I'm wondering why the snow isn't melting,when all of the sudden I'm overheating. So basicially it'sconstantly raining, the ground is covered in snow, thetrees are losing their leaves and the temperature isreally hot. Need food/sanity/health? Go slay some tallbirds or merms. I'd be freezing one day and smoldering the next. And there will be snow on ground even while the deciduous forest has red cover. At least the Summer part doesn't seem to last that long. Sometimes smoldering is only half a day, even. Run into a spider den, aggro the spiders, kill them all of with spear+battle helmet, Free meat. If you need the health back, you can just kill a few more enemies. I saved the small amount of meat that I found for when I would really need it, and ended up not using it :/ I survived the last world by camping between two spider dens and constantly killing all the spiders, getting an overdose of cooked monster meat, tons of glands for salves and full health+sanity. I really felt cheap when I managed to beat story mode...
