nekorina Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 Me and my friends have tried unlocking Maxwell in the Dont Starve Together Mode and have managed to collect all the items to make the Portal but it does not seem to work? So Maxwell only can be unlocked in Dont Starve Mode? Although there is a fan mod that adds him to DST characters list. Copy & paste this into the top of the files bar (if you know what im talking about, good for you) If you dont know how to do that, look at the file name and figure out how to get to it. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Don't Starve Together Beta\data\scripts As you can see, if you scroll down, maxwell has his own script. If he isnt in the game, he probably will be. Also, does anyone know how to convert a TEX file into a picture? As for Maxwell and Wes, I don't think they've said anything about those characters. You can't unlock them in-game just yet. OP...? Sure he can survive pretty long if he just stays in beaver form if thats what you mean but personally i dont think hes a great character. Woodie's drawback to Werebeaver form is the fact that he drops his stuff and can't pick things up, and loses access to the map, etc. In DST, you can easily just have a friend travel w/ you and all of the downsides of Werebeaver form are completely negated. You can even have that same friend drop Living Logs for you to continue your Werebeaver rampage.
