[REQUEST] Renewable World Mod?

I've been playing Don't Starve Together, and I hate how some things are non renewable, for example, Gears, Mandrakes etc.

 

I would like to request a mod, or something where Mandrakes grow, slowy. Flowers grow back, and any enemies that are non renewable (Clockwork enemies) Could respawn.

 

I think that would be cool, thanks.

On topic: It's certainly possible. With some work you could even learn to implement it yourself.

flowers can be planted with a live butterfly caught from a bugnet. from the inventory, you can plant it if you take it out of the inventory, and right click on the ground.

My mod Nature's Wild has some of what you are looking for but it doesn't touch flowers or mobs.

Here's a few mods you may be interested in:

 

• Mandrakes
• Rocks/ores
• Beehives
• Gears
• Fireflies (RoG only)
• Raw materials (gems, bees, manure, etc)
• Bunch of craftables 1 (huge list of things)
• Bunch of craftables 2 (includes butterflies, good for flowers)

 

No idea how well they all work, but it's worth giving them a try.

You may need to update the api version in the modinfo for a bunch of them.

Also try looking through the code of the ones you like, it'll give you an idea on how you can make your own.
