Survivalist
Hey, whenever I get smallbirds they attack the dogs that attack me and just die. Is there a way to have them stay out of battle? KonradosHut
Has anyone tried shooting the Smallbird with a Sleeping Dart? Maybe it would prevent the little brat from getting into trouble. FatPanda
You can put him to sleep with your pan flute, but when he wakes up he'll come find you so kill them quick =) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/3923-my-smallbirds-keep-dying-d/#findComment-31524 Share on other sites
Full Metal Kirby
As long as you put them to sleep (via sleeping dart or pan flute) and get far enough away that they're 'unloaded', they'll be completely safe in that area and stop following you until you get close enough to 'reload' them. So you could stockpile an entire army of smallbirds at a random location if you don't mind wasting pan flutes/sleep darts.
