Alternate Way to Cool Off

Perhaps an alternate (and more believable than endothermic fires) way to cool off could be to craft a mud puddle with swamp turf/cave mud turf and stones for a quick but temporary cool-down, at the expense of gaining wetness or losing sanity.

Now we have enough ways to be cool. I also think, turfs needs only for style and beautiful base. I do not see much sense in this idea (but then he is)

Some turfs already have non-cosmetic differences, so it would be pretty fitting to make other turfs do the same.

Completely agree that this should be implemented. Unfortunately, as the DLC is now complete, I doubt they'll at it in.

Perhaps, but I'm doubtful.

For me, this would add a heck of a lot of what summer's missing, though.
