This thread is to discuss what you think the Small Birds will do

I think that you have to put them near a fire otherwise they wont hatch and when the are born they will follow you until they grow big then they will go to the nearest rock land they may not survive after the journy though and then they build a nest. They might be nicer to you once they go back and might let you take a few eggs because you rasied them! This is just a guess

I think they'll be all nice and playful while they are small but once they grow up they'll become aggressive.

They gave us pigmen, we made and army. So they punished us with werepigs.

Now they give us small birds... what will we do about it?

I think they are means to keep tallbird from going extinct, But once fully grown will peck your eyes out. So something along the lines of:

It's so cute! I made like 50 of these little things to keep me company. Look at em go awww-WGOD THEIR EVERYWHERE, IT HURTS SO BAD!

I think they have to have one perk to having them around you otherwise why would you hatch them?

I think they are going to be a way to either farm eggs (winter sounds like it'll be rater nasty to deal with when it gets here, after all) or another army animal to use against things like the spider queen (assuming it comes this update, that is). Probably they will drop morsels when they die, since pigs drop meat and small birds will certainly be easier to get then pigs.
