I noticed in the forums that a couple people seemed to be able to find a way to work around this problem and still play this game. Is this ill-advised? Thank you. Xbox 360 can't run graphics-intense games either. Only low resolution games at 30 fps. Xbox 360's hardware is seriously outdated and Xbox One is outdated as well although it's supposed to be a new release... Build a desktop computer and get Windows 7 Unless you travel a lot, then you may want to consider a laptop purchase instead. I recommend Asus or Fujitsu. Don't Starve, while it looks really nice, the style of the animation doesn't appear to require heavy graphics. Long story short, if you can get Steam games to Run, you can normally get this game to run. That written, close other background programs running or you could get lag during intensive multi graphical events (like setting a forest on fire and being in the middle of it.) Could you give me your specific Macintosh model, RAM and video RAM (if shared from the main RAM let me know) so I can do a minimums comparison as well as check Integrated/discreet GPU options? But if you're feeling brave, you can explore yourself here...after you back up your settings of course. Not sure if you have this model, but it seems suggested you do. Which is why I am trying to get a specific model of course. Ignore if not your type of Mac at all of course. Thanks!I had 2011 MacBook Air 13" with IGP intel HD 3000. Ran perfectly smooth. And it was in beta build at the moment i played it. Nowadays things are way more optimized (no fog lagging stuff, "trees-with-snow" hick-ups, etc). I do not think you should have any problems runing it whatsoever.
