23rd Posted October 10, 2013 Share Posted October 10, 2013 I just like tents. Unless I'm playing as Wickerbottom, in which case I like pumpkin cookies and top hats. As long as I'm keeping an eye on my meters staying sane is rarely an issue outside of fighting Deerclops and going through Adventure Mode. 23rd Posted October 10, 2013 Share Posted October 10, 2013 I've been bizarrely lucky enough to always get him in my home biome. It doesn't sound lucky what with the fact I'm bound to lose two or more structures first, but I keep Tier 3 Spider Dens a short distance away that he happily chases me to. Nothing makes a fight between two dangerous badasses more fun than a wild card Red Shirt Army (and possibly a third dangerous badass.) Is it weird that I really want to shave Dearie? Sanity being a problem in the game, now that is amazing . Build all the bee boxes, the more the merrier, then make all the taffy and laugh at this pretending to be dangerous game mechanic. Oh and the hp loss from taffy, you can mitigate by eating...honey! hotflungwok Posted October 10, 2013 Share Posted October 10, 2013 I only very rarely get to see the deerclops. Haven't seen it once in my current game, and I'm on day 150+. Last time I pulled him into the tallbird set piece. He killed all of them and had like 2hp when it was over. I killed him with a blow dart and had to make 2 trips carrying all the eggs and meat back. I only had the deerclops once and he appeared all the way on the other side of the map in a huge biome of mac tusks, hounds, spiders and spiderqueens. One of the queens finished him off and her little followers gobbled up the eye faster than you can say "NO PLEAAAAA..."
