I've recently tried out using fire nettle tea during winter and it's an absolute game changer. If you farm 14 fire nettle fronds and dry them, you'll be able to make 7 fire nettle teas, which is more than enough to get you through winter with 100% uptime. No more fuss with warming yourself up, no more insulated clothing, ripping out circuits as WX, or dealing with thermal stone durability. The best part is that the fronds don't spoil whence they've been dried, and neither does the tea, so the only effort you have to put into getting tea is harvesting your fire nettles every few days, and they don't even die like forget-me-lots, plus they grow year round.

I have no clue if this is common place knowledge that I'm just learning about, but this tea is genuinely amazing and I felt the need to praise it. Easily the best tea imo.

Honestly when I saw the teas for the first time the first thing I thought of was Warly as they showcase what his special dishes could have been not 1 for 1 but dishes that give easier to obtain buffs for the day to day that people value. While they sorta tried that but it mostly fell flat because outside of a few exceptions like honey crystals or the frog leg bowl most of his dishes were either too expensive or time consuming.

Grim gallette is also super good late game, as its functionally an on demand full heal regardless of its freshness, so long as you're wearing the enlightened crown with 5 celestial jewels in it. This is especially good for Warly because of his repeat dish penalty.

Admittedly Warly can also drink the teas, so it's more like he gets the "Whoa, 2 cakes!" Meme

If there was cut grass tea that sets your damage multiplier to 2 Wolfgang would be able to drink it but he wouldn't be thinking he has two cakes.

do you have this stuff on stand by or do you have a dedicated team of sweatshop elves who make this on the fly

teas are cool but by the time I reach them my world is nearly over with

This is my only issue with the tea shop. I get that it's supposed to be late-game content, but it's also a shame that there's basically not much else to do with them, unless you actively rush the scion objectives and ignore the rest of the game to enjoy them.

Earliest you could theoretically get them is autumn year 2, but the other issue is if you're rushing scion, there's this weird downtime between winter and autumn were you've killed mutated varg and crystal deerclops but can't get bearger, so you go for other stuff like bee queen, dfly, fuelweaver... and then you fall into the same issue of running out of content to do post scion lol. Not to mention you're really going to want the bone armor and possibly jellybeans for scion...

But this is my rushing player speaking, I've used them in long-term worlds and they're really good. I just wish we had a middle ground of having access to the teas in a weaker version, just like the combriner after CK.

Yeah their current state is kinda overtuned to bring it earlier into the game but I imagine we'll probably get early game variants through Warly as that's definite his territory. We technically already have this tea through him even if it is at a much worse conversion rate.
