Changes

• Added new art for Pearl’s Place and Large Meat Rack UI.
• Added another Wind Charm variation.
• Turf-Raiser Helmet will now show the decoration area around Pearl’s Place.
• Warly can now drink Pearl’s teas.
• Pearl will now comment on when she’s happy with the amount of decorations you have for a certain type.
• Flowers and Bee Boxes will now contribute to Pearl’s decoration score.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed Pearl’s tea recipes using incorrect ingredients.
• Fixed Message in a Bottle searching for a pearl if the cracked version was already given.
• Fixed player characters complaining about getting wet while soaking in Hot Springs.
• Fixed Pearl sometimes trying to walk far off in the world after being relocated.
• Fixed a crash with the Pocket Scale and Pearl.
• Fixed a crash with Lunar Rifts and Pearl.
• Fixed accidentally exiting Hot Spring while typing in the chat bar.
• Fixed not being able to exit Hot Spring by clicking.
• Fixed a crash with Pearl’s Light Posts
• Fixed a crash with the fake Koalefant corpse during a hunt.
• Fixed several drinks like Halloween Potions, Corn slushy and Hot Cocoa not using the new drink animations and sounds.
• Fixed creatures that turned into corpses not dropping souls for Wortox.
• Fixed a bug causing incorrect chances for lunar mutation.
• Fixed a case where Werepigs could exit the death state.
• Fixed Crystal-Crested Buzzards, Bright-Eyed Frogs, and Slurtle Mounds dropping souls for Wortox.
• Fixed pickable plants adding incorrect value towards Pearl’s decorations.

Yeah what's even more surprising is, there was already someone else who came up with this idea even several years ago from 2022.

Looks like original ideas are timeless I guess

I think the lore is consistent in this regard. Ghosts are disembodied souls. Mutated animals are reanimated corpses that have already died. If anything, souls should be dropped upon initial death, before the corpse gets mutated.

Gestalts don’t appear to be synonymous with souls.

They can take items from chest but can't harvest stone avocado bushes. (And yes they can eat avocado) and it's same with Geode Fruits.

is this way of killing slurtles in the beta right now or not? I fed some salt to the slurtle and it kinda just enjoyed the crunchy rock snack rather then kicking the bucket.

Probably just instant-noodles who always datamines the game each update. Klei never stated anything about slurtles but thanks to him we now know it's 100% confirmed and just a matter of time! 👍

They seem to be a direct projection from alter. Yes we see em in caves but lunar grotto has cracks in the ceiling.
