The multiple Wagtaff idea could make sense when you think about gloves... here me out!

The Wagstaff we see for most of the ARG ends up wearing only a RIGHT glove, this'll be Wagstaff A.

The other Wagstaff that is at the end of this ARG DOESN'T have a glove on his LEFT hand, we'll call him Wagstaff B.

The Wagstaff in most of the animated shorts, the one interacting with the surviors, has BOTH gloves  - Wagstaff C.

The one we see at the very end of Interference, who appears at the same time as C, wears a right glove - so this must be A or B.

The one Winona fails to save during Next of Kin wears both and loses a LEFT glove, this can't be A, B or C - He's D. This is also probably the 'prime universe' Wagstaff, given the continuity.

The Wagstaff we meet in-game, the one we see in the old Eye of the Storm title screen, aka Grainy Transmission - has NO gloves at all. I'l explain why I think this could only be either B or even Wagstaff E!!!!!

The glove we find in-game after Grainy Transmission 'dies' is a RIGHT one. But I doubt this is A, C, or D's glove - why?

Because it's white. Not yellow like the other Wagstaffs. Organised men such as themselves wouldn't dare mis-match gloves!

This is either the white glove we don't see B wearing in the ARG - or Wagstaff E, assuming he just can't wear it due to DST's inability to make asymmetrical hands.

Hesh, that's a lot of Wagstaff....

Also, how did people figure out the plug socket order? I cannot understand how you got that order from the note. Why isn't the second row 312????

Yeah exactly but that reads 312, not 231 for the 2nd row so where is that coming from? I guess it doesn't really matter as long as we get to the next part of the puzzle but still confusing

I figured it out, the dots don't represent the plugs, they represent the ORDER you click them. The plugs are already shown in order at the top of the note.

I’m sorry if the answer is obvious and I just missed it, but could someone explain why there are two Wagstaffs? I feel like Charlie from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia with the pin board in the mail room.

It might be time travel, and the other one is the future Wagstaff.

The flow of time in The Constant is different from that in reality. If Wagstaff enters The Constant at a certain time and then returns to reality at an earlier point in time, from the perspective of the real timeline, he has undergone a time travel.

I like how the portal didn't quite work until there was a fire. Maybe Don't Starve Together will end with Wilson finding one of Wagstaff's nonfunctional portals and activating it using his iconic Torch™️before the survivors all escape the Constant through it.

Something's not working for me here.

I follow everything up to this step:

image.png.7863e7f4974cc52e2bc031e8e19094a7.png

And then when I pull the lever further up, nothing happens.

image.png.3fc7a47dd4cafd1eb4f4e5022fec9cc8.png

What gives? It would appear as if me pulling the lever up to the 6th stage is simply not registered, as when I adjust the slider thingies it reverts back to the 5th stage.

Similar issue here...I've even tried to follow the steps from the other videos, but it won't let me pass a certain point.

The lever goes back down when I move something, or everything flashes red... I've noticed sometimes the gauges aren't updated, like on the videos, after I made a move.

Is it a browser issue maybe ?

Wagstaff inventing cloning or accidentally cloning himself by going through the portal seems like a totally random thing to add to the ds/t universe.

maybe teleportation is cloning....imagine all the survivors got their wish scot free and they will never know theres a clone of them suffering in the constant.

Mirrored Wagstaff may also explain why we all believed he was Ambidextrious for so long ((I still stick to the headcanon that he is ambidextrous because i like it))

But i dont think its cloning as we know alternate timelines exist via Wanda. So maybe he accidentally tuned into the portal frequency of his alternate self.

this explains why all survivors are left handed, they most likely arnt in real life and are only left handed beacuse of mirroring

This is such an incredible puzzle! Took me a while to figure it out even with all the help from you guys, but that challenge and the community cooperation is what makes it interesting (and brings back memories) ^^

I got goosebumps when the music started playing (and startled by every single noise, even when I'd seen the audio part in the code earlier, so I'd expected it).

And the lore implications..! I guess my silly theory isn't so far-fetched after all, but time (Klei) will tell. xD

Correct me if I am wrong but having the panels with the 2 Wagstaff and also Wagstaff in a room taking notes is the end for now right? Not missing anything.

It should be, but you can check by right clicking on the site and then selecting "Inspect". Click on the "Console" tab and look for "🚧". If you have a puzzle piece, it means you have more to solve:

Finally, you should check your https://accounts.klei.com/account/transactions transactions to see if you got Klei Points for solving this week's lore:

Well that was a brain-wreck and a half, glad I waited.

That gramophone screen suspiciously looks like them lofi hip-hop girls. Music to make theories and ponder the lore implications to.

Is that how it should be? I don't understand what to do, I need help, I've been refreshing the page and looking for other links to the puzzle, nothing helps.image.png.6725ead21b0fc83e3ae5beff63c971d6.png

I believe you can brighten/paint bucket the big empty space panel under the pipe to reveal:

It's just panel 5 on the day side, the one under the pipe panel - nothing to do with the background or anything. One of the earlier peeps probably meant to write 'below' instead of 'behind' and started a misconception

I meant to post it for archival purposes earlier while I still had it copied, but felt lazy. Thankfully the asset was still accessible from my history! Here's the specific panel + the panel with just a lazy paintbucket

(The letters rearrange to spell Manifestum)

And then you need to enter that word as a code by spelling it using this:

And then also enter, "Wagstaff" the same way. There is much more to do after that.
