Spoiler

Idk if there is a item or not but it does get used in the new stage plays( or at least the emote does)

Huge Spoilers.

Basically, Elytra betrays Visionist and Artificier. Visionist gets posioned from the chalice and Artificer gets stabbed to death.

Idk what does the stage play mean but you also find all three ancients masks right next to their corpses.( and one of them still has the chalice)

Klei, what the hell did you do with my beatifull 3D castle...
IT'S RUINED

Heavy objects being stuck floating in the air unfortunately needed fixed due to other issues that came from it. Sorry, the castle looks really cool and it is a shame to see it fall apart.

The Elytra

Thanks for showing these, the lores expand... By the way, are there only plays for each mask individually?

  • Modified the Ancient Orchestrina puzzle so that it doesn’t fully reset on a single mistake.

Doesn't this defeat the point of it being an activity that gets marginally faster in a multiplayer environment by designating sections of it to each player, laughing over the accidental repeat mistakes and praising any defying of odds?

Yes, but modern dst is no longer about ever remotely "displeasing" the player. Everything gotta be swift and easy now

That's how retrofitting for this biome works on old worlds. It spawns a tiny island so remote that it can't be connected by bridges at all.

And it also spawns a wormhole so you can get to it.

This is exactly why I have always started brand new worlds when new updates come out, I want to experience the natural biome in its intended experience rather than a compacted one that is weirdly retrofitted.

You still lost sanity when using the green amulet and the encapsulator, so it wasn't completely free.

Not exactly expensive, either. If it was health, there'd be a risk that mimics might trick you into dying, at least.

Sounds like the ending to Shakespeare's Hamlet? Edit: Never mind, I think it was a poisoned sword. The normal poisoning happens at the beginning.

The new stageplay seems to indicate that Maxwell was holding out for so long so that he could save Charlie, but Charlie had already begotten him. The Visionary (Wilson) created a portal to free all of them from Alter, but failed. It also refers to an Overseer, who is either Tenebrau or Metheus (hell, Metheus might even be Tenebrau). What confuses me is the mention of the "Shieldbearer", and that Charlie isn't Metheus..? It's confusing.

I really want to know what caused this feature to be destroyed. What are the so-called other problems? Will it crash the game? If so, how big of an operation is required to crash the game? Frankly speaking, I feel very angry. I hope to get a reasonable explanation. Otherwise, I really think it is your damn control desire to suppress the creativity and enthusiasm of players.

probably because of some glitches that player can clip into mid air to fight bosses, things floating in air is obviously not indented

If it’s really just about these things, then I think the developers truly have a strong desire for control, which severely stifles players’ creativity and enthusiasm. Honestly, the way the developers talk makes me feel like they’re mocking this group of players—just for the sake of those stupid bosses? To be frank, I really feel like the developers are building a ship inside a bottle, forgetting that this game also has a sandbox aspect. All day long they just keep endlessly creating new bosses. Whenever players show even a little bit of creativity, it seems to make the developers extremely uncomfortable, and then they reveal their controlling nature to suppress the players.

They don’t even care whether these features are practical or difficult. This mechanic has existed for many years, has been widely used among Chinese players, and has also been tested by some highly skilled players and people who understand the code. I truly don’t believe this mechanic would cause any real problems, and if there are any, they must be extremely rare to trigger. That’s why I want an answer.

I know my words are harsh, but honestly, I’ve tried before to make posts, keeping polite, offering suggestions, and raising questions. But the truth is, in this situation, I really feel like they haven’t changed at all from beginning to end—their need for control is still just as strong.

No

Tenebrau (Literally means darkness) is that eldritch shadow eye from the gateway as evidenced by their heralds starting to invade once the gateway is upgraded/powered. Metheus is the Queen of the Ancients.
