maybe but only two character can do this without pulling out like 40 healing item and tons of resouces

I did this with Wilson using 40 pierogies. Of course, it's not enough for the entire fight, but it shows how much healing is broken in the game. It just goes to show that the electrical damage isn't that high.

whats wrong with that? you can beat any boss if you have enough armor and healing
plus the eletric field makes you slow and you cant catch up with scion dashes or doding them, also eating takes up ur dps output, which result in more healing

I'm not saying there's anything wrong, but it just shows that it doesn't need a nerf. If I had to make any changes, it would be to increase the electrical damage.

I personally don’t think it would be a good idea if only because it diminishes the LE/mushcake strats and puts the low health characters that can’t improve their max health in worse spots compared to 150 HP or higher characters (who already have considerably more leeway regardless).

Don't worry. I'm sure the devs won't increase the damage. What might happen is that Klei might decrease the damage because of a random player who creates an account for a single post.

you arnt suppose to stand in it for long, and the only two low health character is maxwell and wes, maxwell literally just spam cage the entire fight and wes....... well he finds a way

I just wanted to add that I believe Klei has nerfed/fixed the inimical gestalt issue but they're still a problem in older pre hotfix worlds. Can we expect that this will be resolved or do we have to suffer with these entities forever?

 

You've had to fight harder bosses to encounter Scion (in my opinion) so I'm not sure what inclined this post. It's easier to learn than ck and fw (given youre not cheesing) in the respect that all you have to do in the fight is dodge stuff.

it currently is boring and easy, nothing works together well, and the only thing youd have to care about is 'dont let it cover the legs' and thats it. the corruption is not difficult but punishing in a very awful way. but hey if you want 'hard and annoying' rather than 'hard and interesting' be my guest

if is boring and easy, then it doesnt need to be changed

I don't say nothing at all.

The forethought to ensure the final product is ready to be pushed to the live branch is yet again, lacking. 

It's a busy time for new releases, we've got some really big ones coming, made by much smaller teams - on much tighter deadlines, DST just doesn't measure up anymore. I think it's really lost it's luster on the western market and a lot of the laziness is directly attributed to not caring about how incomplete and under-tuned each and every patch is. (Don't get me started on the lack of care over the maintenance of the public servers, I find this element absolutely insane)

Despite the fact these issues have always generally been present with Klei, it's just been embraced as a culture within the org I feel. 

Happy for any criticism as to the 'why's' of why we've got to where we have, and why it's justifiable - Give me any reason you've got and out of pure apathy i'd accept it, but it doesn't change that we've ended up here with the game. You can say 'But Klei have said this'/'Klei care about the game'/'Klei have given their reasons' - great, fine, good to hear them. Still in a pit of customer dissatisfaction though - sooooooo we just gonna keep going as we have been then? Cool? Can't wait to be more unsatisfied! :D

Wes defeats the Scion, which was supposed to be difficult and in a multiplayer setting. If the next boss is twice as difficult as the Scion, I might need two Wes. LOL.

Metheus’s Unseen Hands can only be attacked by players whose Sanity is below 15% and above 80%.

I don't say nothing at all.

saying GET GOOD is not an insult. It’s just that i think they have to first SLOWLY learn how to fight the boss, and not just complain about anything.

Personally I actually enjoy the forever corruption mechanic, and I think this "Restrictions" is concept of Scion and it make this boss unique, so I think it’s okay to have at least one boss like Scion among all the bosses in DST.

That said, letting a single slip-up ruin the entire battle might be too harsh a punishment.

Depends, in this case I wouldn't consider it as one. There are a lot of things to complain about related to bosses and their mechanics but electric field while might seem unfair at first becomes not that big of an issue if you just practice, you literally need to get good to deal with it
