Current Issues:

The Terramite only has 2,000 durability, and defeating the boss only yields 6 Conduction Cores (totaling 12,000 durability - enough for just 800 trees). In today's update:

  • Terramites are more vulnerable to damage, and taking damage reduces durability

  • The infinite-durability exploit was patched, but no crafting recipe was added
This makes the final boss drop extremely disappointing, doomed to become a niche item

Performance Comparison:
As an endgame reward, Terramites are outclassed by character-specific alternatives:

  • Winona's Catapults surpass them in both mob farming efficiency and resource gathering speed, while her GEMerator provides cheap, sustainable power

  • Maxwell's Shadow Minions and Woodie's transformations offer comparable (or better) efficiency at lower operational costs

Suggested Solution:
Introduce a crafting recipe for Gyroscopic Conduction Cores, unlocked via Celestial Champion blueprint:

  • Recipe: Scrap + Phantom Catcher that has captured a Greater Gestalt
(Prevent exploitation by making Mimic Worm-cloned Catchers unable to capture Gestalts)

Why This Matters:
  This change would:

  1. Preserve the item's endgame status while making it sustainably usable

  2. Maintain challenge by requiring Greater Gestalt capture

  3. Create meaningful progression between boss fights

The current implementation makes this prestigious drop functionally inferior to mid-game alternatives - your consideration would be greatly appreciated! This isn't just QoL - it's about respecting players' time. When endgame gear underperforms, players WILL find exploits. Better to implement balanced sustainability than fight an arms race against glitches. @V2C

It should cost a scrap or two to repair and terramite should not be damaged when working only when attacked.

Why would anyone use this so late into the game when bearger is much better at chopping trees? Forest/cave skeleton is also better because all you need is some nightmare fuel for thurible and each nightmare fuel gives you like 3 minutes.

a whole phantom catcher bro? idk. with their current power i feel like its overpriced

This is already the maximum reasonable cost we're willing to accept - though cheaper would of course be ideal.

I'd prefer if the tons of spark arks getting more uses

I think spark arcs would actually be worse IMO, because then you would be forced to 3 per year no matter what. Encapsulators are pricey, but you can realistically make a solid amount that don’t inherently rely on a forced time gate, at least not enough to not farm well over 3 per year.

can klei please finish the update and let us own flying drones?

Sadly, I don't think flying drones were ever planned to be usable. Terramites had quotes for being "friendly" even before the ability to repair them was implemented. Warblers never had those quotes because they're just for spare parts :(

then why did they add electrocute animations to literally every mob?

Most likely lightning, unless mobs arent affected by it. If not then idk

Electric damage inflicted by players is already extremely strong, why would they make it even stronger with a new stun, for no reason out of nowhere?

No, these shocked mobs are for a potential flying drone ally, nothing else makes sense.

In my opinion, it's better to have less power creep, and it's also better if there's more value in fighting bosses.

How about this my compromise:

-Make Terramites durable enough in a single WARBOT battle until satisfy who want to repair Terramite(= who want to use Terramite them more universally).

-To prevent them from being instantly destroyed by mobs due to a mistake, in terms of combat, switch from a durability-based system to an HP-based, and when their HP reaches 0, instead of breaking completely, a few percentage of their durability is consumed, and they enter a "broken" state until repaired via the Auto-Mat-O-Chanic, just like with WARBOT combat.

That's what everyone of us thought, but on stream they noted that having the boss use a bunch of electricity attacks and them wanting to make new Shock States just happened to align coincidently and they'd work on them during this beta.

The also noted that Warblers COULD possibly come at a later date very loosely. I'd love to see them but I'll hold onto my hope for now.

This is the final lunar boss in the game. I think its okay for the drones to have power comparable/stronger than existing pre rift options. Fighting the boss over and over to “temporarily” unlock this power is very lame in my opinion.

The reward for repeating the fight should be having more drones you can place wherever to slowly expand your harvesting capabilities, like with just about every other thing you would seek repeat kills for, not constantly repairing the same 6 drones to use for 15 minutes and then needing to kill the boss again.

because currently electrical damage is just a buff that happens during rain. with stun it can become viable outside of rain

edit: and less boring
