Wortox:

  • Soul Decoy II will now deal some damage to the target that hit it directly.
  • Reaching Souls II will no longer make Souls attract faster, and will now make dropped Souls move towards the most hurt player nearby.
  • Soul Bastion II will now also enhance the Soul's speed provided from Reaching Souls II.
  • Knabsack's efficiency for picking up items has been increased for big hauls.
  • Knabsack may now be used as a Bug Net.

BEST SKILLTREE EVER

Is there no VFX or sound effects for the knabsack? It feels pretty plain. :concern:

They announced it here

but if they won't release it on launch then let's start "No Knabsack?" campaign /j

Ones like Walter's ammo bag or Polar Bearger Bin, if they are in your inventory, you should be able to pick up another item and hover over it to get an action to Store the item without opening the container.  Previous to this update, that action did not work while you were mounted.

by chance is this interaction still missing on controller or is it possibly coming with the upcoming controller update?

its still a full skill point. wendy and walter have both gotten pretty damn good items for that much!

like i said, i'm fine with it becoming more expensive of a craft if it becomes a better item. the point of wanting to use it as a bug net, for me, is the ease of it, since im normally carrying a knabsack on me anyways. as it is, id still have to teleport back to my base for materials, which changes very little for me. yes it is cheaper than a normal bug net, yes it is aoe, but the main reason why i was looking forward to having it as a bug net is so that i wouldnt have to make trips back (and use more souls) if i happened to need one >_<

if you are looking for bugnet with lots of durability we already have thulecite one

Tail Slot/HeadTailSync for Wortox

Was making fits for Wortox earlier today and yeah this is very annoying. Having basically no option to put on pants without getting the default tail type with just a color change. Please allow us to get the matching tail with the head we choose not the leg slot. This way we can better customize Wortox.

@V2C would this be something hard to adjust? Also thanks for all the hard work!!!!!!!!!

5% cost per capture.

What "critters" are able to be caught with it?

Well, pretty much same as bugnet. Butterflies, bees and etc.

Is it an AoE effect? Like catching multiple creatures with a single swing?

Haven't been able to test it that way. But now instead of attack, main action is to catch similar to bugnet. So I believe it's a single grab.

ive been able to mass catch in one swing using actionqueue, so i believe you might be able to when we get the next patch? regardless it is possible

still 5% durability per bug caught, so you can break a knabsack instantly if you catch 20 creatures simultaneously (which i know is an extreme example that wouldnt happen unless you accidentally drop a stack of bugs)

Or pickup after bundle wrap

I do like the idea of electric weapons having hit stun increase, maybe it could also delay attacks from enemies when using morning star?

Buffs to electric element weapons are a big plus in my opinion. So far they have the clunkiest condition of needing a wet target but without direct weather control the mechanic is essentially useless.

Could you do something about it? Maybe freezing a target and unfreeze with fire staff would make them have a wet debuff, or perhaps water balloons to make targets wet?

Water balloons or way to make target wet directly then hitting with Walter's ammo would be a great synergy, add variety to a build and being a creative choice of weapon use.

Since I begged for fire and ice staff upgrades this might be a decent enough buff too for them.

Freezing in general applying temporary wetness could be cool. Would make electric stuff more reliable, and give Walter some synergy between shock&ice rounds.

I don't really like that weighting of Warly's content is skewed even more towards Volt Goat Chaud-Froid. Also, I feel like Wigfrid's Battle Rönd will be in even more of a tough spot against Elding Spear.

I agree with increasing the stun of electric weapons, so I think the competitors need some kind of buff and rebalancing.

    • The effects of Slow-Down Rounds no longer stack with the effects of Ickies.

I wonder what that one Walter poster will feel about this change. Genuinely curious.

Changes

  • Beefalos will no longer buck you off to become domesticated when you feed them while mounted.  They will become domesticated the next time you dismount and feed them.

Also goated change

Updated names for some ammo types and inspection strings for some Slingshot parts to give them a bit more Walter flavor.
