i Personally think both normal and greater depths worms are good and i wont be surprised if they do bring back snakes from shipwrecked,but rictus seems a bit werid its a post rift mob i cant see it begin rictus. 

 

Anything they bring i hope its not like last year...year of the dragonfly this event hurt me and still haunts me.:spidercowers:

It's not gonna be rictus or great depth worms. They're relatively very new, their roles are already cemented and most people haven't had much experience fighting them.

It's either going to be a new mob or just something symbolic.

Don't forget year of the dragon did not change anything whatsoever about DF.

They did it with carrats. Also depth worms are not new at all they are back from original ds.

Well if my maths are adding up (and I’m terrible at math) Year of the Snake also falls simultaneously in line with the 10 Year Anniversary of DST. 
My hopes and dreams for a huge celebration of 10 years of DST would be to finally get Shipwrecked and Hamlet Compatibility in an Official Capacity.

There are PC Mods that tries to add these things, but I’m not playing on a PC.

And if I can’t get full compatibility then at least add the snakes from SW & Hamlet, there should be something cool added to the great depths worm too, like IDK huge Robotic Snake Skin or Something.. similar to how Deerclops gets changed to Feast Clops for WintersFeast.
