We plan to continue working on Woby and expanding the skilltree

Does this mean they might be adding some of the more recent suggestions, including some non-slingshot/Woby skills? There's been a lot of good discussion recenty

Wortox and Wendy = NICE!

Walter = The badges concept for Woby still is not worth it, if I have the speed and the dig one activated, I cannot level both, since Woby needs to be small to do 1 action and big in another…

honestly I will give up on Woby, I was expecting something considerable to change, reducing cooldown and tweaking for the badge system got me upset, not gonna lie

They said they're bringing changes to it that will be too big for a small update

Now is it possible for other, non-Wendy players to get the buff? If so, there could be a new top speed possible (speed elixir hat on WX)??

Yes! They even have quotes for the buffs!

I do think it's neat to have an item other characters can use. The hat does use spoilage and you lose the buffs the moment you unequip the hat, so I don't think you can cheese the item too hard either.

I think it's nice to see another item that can be sharable/usable by other characters. Been awhile since we have, and it's nice to see a refresher! Only thing that's sort of unclear is you have to right click the hat with the potion in particular, though It's not that hard to figure out and works similar for abigail anyway.

I saw it, I just gave up expecting something hahahahah…

it’s better to stick to my beefalo, the likelyhood that Woby’s change will surpass a beefalo’s power is 1%, so it’s healthier for me to give up on hopes hahahahahah

Vigor Mortis: i have no clue

It gives you a flat +25% speed increase but only if you speed is below 1 and only enough to set your speed back to 1. In particular, the piggyback, marble suits, and heavy objects are impacted by this.

  • Slingshot base attack speed increased.
  • Slingshot grip changes:
    • Grip Tape & Void Wrap: Adds a ramping attack speed boost during repeated shots, which resets when interrupted.  Charged shots will instantly bring you up to the max speed.
    • Sticky Grip & Jelly Grip: Adds a fixed attack speed boost as well as preventing the Slingshot from slipping when wet.
    • Slingshot using Void Wrap will gain set bonus from Void Cowl, which affects shadow planar ammo.  More details below.  (Note that the ramping attack bonus from Void Cowl does not apply to ranged weapons.)
  • Ammo changes:
    • Icky Rounds: Reduced duration of effect.
    • Dreadstone Rounds: Chance to not break on impact.  Void set bonus grants a damage buff.
    • Pure Horror Rounds: DoT has increased duration, shorter delay between ticks, and increased max stacks up to 4 times.  Void set bonus grants a damage buff to initial hit, as well as adding two extra ticks to the DoT.
  • Aimed shots and area damage ammos won’t hit walls anymore.
  • Updated stunlock handling for certain large creatures (Frostjaw, Spider Queen, Koalefant, and Nightmare & Scrappy Werepig.
  • Slingshot Field Kit can now be used while mounted.
  • Woby badge changes:
    • Added badge description panel to the Woby Training Station UI.
    • Fetching badge: Woby will now attempt to pick up any nearby item, as long as she holds at least one of that item in her bag. Since this is more effective, the cooldown has been slightly increased, also reducing the action distance.
    • Digging badge: Increased minimum success rate. Decreased overall cooldown.
    • Support badge: Added sanity regeneration when riding Woby. It scales with the badge progress as well. Attacking now also increases its progress by a flat amount. Now levels up faster.
    • Bravery badge: Attacking also increases its progress by a flat amount. Now levels up faster.
    • Speed badge: now levels up faster.

Are there any more updates for Wortox planned?  There has been a decent amount of feedback about abilities like soul decoy II not having any useful functionality, a pile of thoughts about knabsack fixes (whether functionality, qol updates for usability, or appearance/animation), and a bunch of questions about being locked to specific post-rift gear for alignments, making the brevity of the updates here slightly concerning.

Is the elixir duration on the hat affected by the longer duration skill?

Yes! In particular, revenant restorative usually only gives 30 HP without the skill, but 60 HP with. The only exception is spectral cure all, which heals a flat amount of 75 over 15 seconds regardless of if you have the skill or not.

Is 1 the default speed?

Maybe there's lots of hidden posts praising it, but I feel like most of the feedback on this has been ignored. Kind of a bummer when Walter and Wendy concerns are being addressed.

They must have seen these. It's just pretty unlikely for a dev to tell you "no, these were all rejected" outright.

Can’t you just bundle wrap the hat and the Elixers you will need for it & fully prevent spoilage?

i still think the locks on wortox skill tree could be made better, as it is needing 5 points and the things below it is just makin it not realy a free choice what to take, like there no real build choices so to say

I made a suggestion to either lower the points requirement or make neutral skills count as both naughty and nice, the second option gives an incentive to use the flute perks, doesn't give you as much choice as the first, but gives you a chance to work on all locks simultaneously without having to take unwanted skills from either inclination, while maintaining the measuring scale gimmick. Would be cool because neutrality being both naughty and nice leads into the idea of a neutral wortox being a balanced wortox, both good and bad, yin and yang.

Sure, but that doesn't really address the issue. If most of the people are suggesting different things, to me it hints that it might be a little underwhelming
