So what's the point of Lunar Abby now when Shadow provides way more utility AND damage now..? I think Lunar should have it's attack rate doubled while keeping it's previous damage output but without the old survivability. Because at that point you might as well use Shadow Aligned and still have the same DPS output as previous Lunar Abby.

Question, is it possible, or ideal, to maybe have it be context/situation specific?

Say I give potions to a non-Wendy character, since they can't have Abi, could it be a right click action for them?
Additionally, for other Wendy players, would it be possible to have the right click effect consume the potion if Abi's flower isn't in your inventory?

And/or keep the hat portion, but also let you drag the drink to your player to consume it, as you would another food item?

Both planar damage and survival ability is monopolized by lunar alignment, that's the point, I guess?

Either nerf damage or nerf survival, you can't nerf both, and now Gestalt lacks both damage and survivability

It might be better to just get what you want out of naughty branch, then take just enough nice skills to reach neutral. You'll lose sanity from eating souls, but will gain that back plus un-nerfed healing for releasing them.

You just have to give up soul decoy, of course. But you get reverb and capricious movement.

the naughty side has never been very enticing. right now the benefit is essentially rewarding bad habits which would be overcapping souls... if they are going to reduce the healing he gets and make him more selfish it should give him at least a 25% damage bump on stuff from his tree(souls,scythe buff, clone explosion, etc) better sanity management is...ok, but compared to neutral mobs it kinda falls flat

personally I am running a neutral build so neither side benefits me

He is the ordinary player who is crying because klei decides to not make abigail invulnerable against bosses.

All these changes are very cool and interesting...but very unfair to the first three skill trees of Wormwood, Walfgang and Woody

I don't really understand this part, are you saying these two skills are bad? Cause my brother is a Wormwood main and he uses those skills a lot. The traps one is especially useful when we don't feel like fighting lunar deerclops (this fight is a pain ngl) so we run around in circles and make it die on a huge trap field. It's just useful in general too, deactivating traps is tedious

I wish gestalt and shadow Abi had planar damage instead of just a regular damage buff, but tbh pre skill tree Wendy could already handle planar mobs without too much trouble using the void set. And I don't even use the void armor, I use the bone armor instead, so I don't get the second damage boost (which is minimal let's be honest). Considering Abigail's max damage (40) and the shadow reaper average damage with the void cowl (41.8 regular, 35 planar, twice per second), plus the vex, which increases Wendy's damage by 40%, and everyone's damage by 10% (yes, they stack), you get basically this formula:

dps = dmg * 2 * 0.75 * 1.4 * 1.1 + 40

This results in around 136.56 regular and 80.85 planar damage per second, a total of 217.41. That's a good dps in my book. For comparison, Wes' dps with the void cowl and shadow reaper is 114.75, Wilson's is 153.6 and Wolfgang's is 307.2. With the vex potion and murder damage bonus, Wendy's dps reaches 273.54 (vex elixir makes vex increase damage by 20% instead of 10% iirc)

Do you think every perk should be flawless in every single scenario?? What would be the point of having -25% damage downside? You simply want to win without deserving it

What's the point if Gestalt don't have advantage over shadow abi? If so , the design is a failure. Gestalt is more fragile with the post rift mob while her damage is equal to the normal abi, so what's the point of gestault?

Yep you are right - Shadow form currently needs to get tuned down a bit to match gestalt and make them equally viable

i definitely believe you are the one who don't deserve to win, btw, since you don't play Wendy i guess it's ok for you. Also, try to do some field research when giving your opinion, rather than saying something that makes people laugh at first glance

Changing the double damage into double attack speed and also adding 10 planar damage would make it even stronger unless I'm misunderstanding your proposal (since they both equivalently do double dps, and then you are adding 10 more)?  I'd think just replacing the double damage with +10 planar damage or some other flat number without the attack speed doubling would make sense though.

Again, might have read it wrong, and think your thread is nicely constructive.

I do play wendy for that i dont want her to be ruined by a bunch of people who dont want to play the game
