Community Guideline Enforcement.

Good. Some of these  posts are just horrible.

Would I be in breach of anything if I pointed out that I would like the freedom of a country within some of these posts? Censorship laws could help here.

(Genuinely asking as I wouldn't wanna say something and get a warning for it.)

Golly gee, a thread like this appearing in the beta subforum for the first time in, like what, 4 years surely means that dst is headed towards a bright future

Tbh it's only because it's wendy. she has the weirdest fanbase and no other character suffers from this. It'll pass.

This might be just a me problem, but the repeated posts calling Wendy mains creepy or weird also feel unnecessary and rude regardless of how a small portion of her fan base is acting. If it’s implying what I think it’s implying, that’s a huge accusation. If not, I guess I’ve misunderstood and I’m sorry for that.

To be honest, this place has always felt unwelcoming and hostile, but I appreciate the devs for being so willing to listen to feedback.

After a new content is released, there are many opposing voices.

As a developer, the first thing to consider is "whether the relationship between the reasons for such a large amount of opposition and the release of new content is reasonable, whether it is to make the entire game better; which part of the new content led to the emergence of reasonable opposition." and "how to make the new content, after improvement, reduce or even eliminate opposition

Instead of "whether these objections make people emotionally dissatisfied" or "whether the wording of these objections meets the standards of self-esteem

“Rome is not built in a day”

Sharp voices do not appear on the first day, but are influenced by a series of issues such as "deficiencies in developer actions and attitudes," "arrogance and lack of empathy among supporters of new content," and "the emergence of discussions targeting opposing groups rather than opposing content," which gradually turn those who express opposing opinions into those who begin to engage in "personal attacks.

If developers cannot realize the primary and secondary relationship and priority order between "solving problems" and "maintaining the community environment", the "harmonious community environment" they pursue is only a false harmony based on self satisfaction. Problems will not truly disappear because of community harmony, but will only be feedback to developers in other forms outside the community environment.

A good community atmosphere is definitely important, but it is definitely not the most important part of a feedback function community.

First, make the diners happy, and then make them pay attention to dining etiquette.

But what if the restaurant wants to give high quality food and some dinners are being noisy about eating fast food?

Then we need to first see if the "high quality" of this dish is evaluated by the diners after finishing, or if it is just defined by the restaurant. After all, no diners want the restaurant to say that they have a large and full serving, but when there are only a few vegetable leaves on the plate when serving, diners still have to praise the chef's skills.

Reporting somebody isn't just going to get them banned.

You don't see who has been warned.

Plenty of warnings and bans have gone out.

Could you write here in what way should one report someone?

It isn't mentioned in the forum guidelines linked in the post, and the moderation policies only mention "Report the content and wait for the moderators to handle the report." without explaining how to go about reporting.

Thanks!
