When do you think Winter's Feast should begin?

Title. It just snowed where I am. First time experiencing snow and I've always loved the cold so I am extremely giddy. The Winter's Feast song makes me feel all festive unlike anything else. So when do you think Winter's Feast is appropriate to begin?

I am not asking when it will happen, but when you hope it would happen.

I wonder if it will go together with an update. In that case I hope they update will get out of beta by mid of december so people have enough time to play winter feast for......I honestly have no idea when and how long they enable those calender events, but I hope by mid december. Earlier would stress me if it goes together with an update, and later would feel.......confusingly late considering players probably want it to be a december event and not a january one?

This reminds me........did the october addition actually have an beta or was it rolled out immediately? In the second case then I appologize, I wasn't aware the feasts can be started and have new content added without an beta. I don't pay that much attention to how Klei deals with content additions, so I haven't noticed yet. In the case of not much changes being done for winter feast I hope it will be added soon enough so people can have fun with the tallbirds wearing their cute socks I personally don't want to play with the non-sock-wearing tallbird's anymore so unless I test something I have all events always enabled just for those silly funny changes.

There's no real reason it shouldn't be December 1-25th, but it's almost certainly going to be whenever the update launches + 4 weeks. (Looking like a minimum of 14th of december this year)

hallow's eve got new tangible content while the staff was busy with rotwood. don't let yourself get greedy or you will have nothing but disappointment in your stocking this year

now with new skill trees being in beta i suspect relative soonish, like a week or something

After the current beta, and preferably after tons of feedback and tweaks to said beta..

I won’t provide details here for people who wish to avoid beta spoilers, but I will just say that the community’s reaction to it has been as skewed and problematic as Wendy’s original Abby does more damage the more hurt Wendy is rework was, which Klei had to then go back and entirely rework into something new because the original concept just didn’t fit.

Same scenario seems to be happening here with current beta, and I wish them the best of luck getting that situated and getting their fanbase satisfied over the upcoming Winter Holiday season.

I don't want to see it any earlier than the start of December. Since they usually update on Thursdays, December 5th would be fine. Or December 12th.
