Hotfix #4: 637822
Changes:

Boarfrost Headband

  • Reduced bonus damage from 50%/100% to 25%/50%

Retail Therapy

  • Increased heal from 250/500 to 500/1000

Permanence

  • Reduced damage reduction from 80% to 60%

Stop-Loss

  • Will now only show up if you have a way to heal into the additional maximum health

Aspect of Shell Drake

  • Changed bonus power crystals per level from 3 to 2

Bullrog Weapons

  • Reduced damage bonus to attacking creatures from 100% to 30%
  • Improvements to Bullrog punch direction and Big Blast direction, making the direction chosen more predictable.

Bullrog Laced Boots

  • Reduced damage reduction while attacking from 40% to 20%

Bullrog Gauntlets

  • Reduce damage bonus given from 20% to 10% per room

Owlitzer Weapons

  • Reduced damage from weapon skill
  • Remove string referencing ability to queue a summon into the Heavy attack.

Mother Treek Weapons

  • No longer causes knockback
  • -ncreased hitstun
  • Slight reduction to hitbox size
  • Skill is now considered an attack

Imbued Owlitzer

  • Scale spawns in elite owltizer fight based on how many players are in the fight

Multiplayer Scaling

  • Spawn less enemies in 3 and 4 player games, but give them more health

General

  • Self-damage while non-interruptible no longer triggers "got hit" iframes
  • Increase plumper suck in radius to add more pressure for its aoe damage area
  • Reduce porkyspine initial cooldown on their icicle attack to 2.5s to make them more responsive after spawning

Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where Imbued Treeks could spawn inside defensive roots during the Imbued Mother Treek fight
  • Fix bug where a Skill stocked into a Heavy Attack would stay stocked even on whiff.
  • Fix Groak skill missing hitbox frames
  • Fix Shell Drake solo mastery provides Rook title
  • Fix one bug in Super Frenzy 2 where traps dealt even more damage to players than intended
  • Imbued Hearts show up in the currency panel in the chest
  • Hid descriptions in the currency panel

I wonder if there will be balance changes for Colossapphire Greaves.

Woah, lots of amazing fixes and changes! Thank you for lowering amount of mobs on 3 and 4 person hunts, I could barely catch what was happening on some of the levels. Not sure what the Stop-Loss power change is? As in, it won't appear if you don't have healing powers or potions?

I'm surprised these pants have been allowed to dominate the game for so long. Every time I see someone wearing them, I know all I can do is stand by and watch as they wipe out all the mobs. These pants definitely make this great game less enjoyable by promoting an unbalanced and unhealthy playstyle.

Yeah, you need to have healing powers for it to drop. The power description:

> Gain X Maximum Health at the start of each combat room. Lose Y Maximum Health for every second you are in combat.

Would be a bummer to get that power and see no benefits because nothing's filling your health to that new maximum level. Even with potions, you don't heal enough for it to be very good. But when paired with Morale Booster, Bloodthirsty, and other "heal on X" powers, you can become The Undying Hunter.

Quite a lot of nerfs.

 

For Super Frenzy 1, in addition to the description "Elite Boss Rot", it would be useful to add the note "All Rots Are Imbued".

The note ,,TEMP" on boss weapons has been removed. Does this mean that unique ability for these weapons will not be added?

Correct - yet.

We are exploring the possibility of doing something a little bit more involved with these weapon sets, but we want to have more Boss Weapons in the mix before making those final decisions.

Ok, it's good to know that you're not abandoning this idea, but leaving it for future refinement, just like the mechanics of anomalies and gems.

I've been curious about this for a little bit, but is it expected that we will be receiving "Boss Armor" in this update or in the upcoming update with gems/anomalies (or in a separate update entirely)? This update said it would be bringing boss equipment but it wasn't specific on whether this was the weapons or armor it would bring?

I suppose the boss armors will be introduced in the far future, sometime after the Gems/Anomalies update.

Can anyone explain what type of update Anomalies will be?“Once you have put your fourth Heartstone into the Wellspring, one of the locations on the map will be experiencing an Anomaly, which can mean many things.”Do I put Heartstone in every time? Or just once?
