The game needs an update. It feels very buggy.

Recommended Posts

There are so many bugs in the game. Why don't they fix them? I reported 3-4 bugs 2 months ago and even they weren't fixed.

- Dups that are carried with "Move" and when it's time to sleep during shift, they drop them and never carry them again. " unreacable "
- "Pufs", go into Tile to sleep.
- Fill rate indicator on "Oxygen Liquid Ox." doesn't work.
- I converted my own Game Save to ONI-Frozen DLC but no new asteroids appeared on my star map.
- Z-index visual issues with Supply Lines and Pipes
- "Robo-Miner"- works when Duplicant tries to destroy something.
- "Meteor blaster" - exceeds the limit of 1000 when you manually put them in Conveyor Loader.
- "Pacus" - I keep them in a pool as Wild and after 100 cycles they reproduce too much and they don't make new eggs and as a result they all die. It wasn't like this before..
- "Gassy Moo" - Overproduced Gas Grass Plants dont rot.

there was an update to the game that made it so critters too unhappy will not reproduce at all, meaning you cant just keep a million pacu in one place without them dying off. this is not unintended behavior

No asteroid will appear on old saves to my knowledge. Only printing pod will have new critters and plants as care packages and new buildings will be available

I don't mean to invalidate your feelings regarding those issues, but many are minor bugs and some are not bugs at all. I know the game to have some quite annoying bugs, but of those you list that really are bugs, many are less important than others you didn't list IMO. I'd rather have the devs tackle those.

Things that were different before disrupt the order in the game. That's what I mean. For example, the Atmosuit Building is now full and when passing through it, it doesn't drop the suit. It comes and pees under itself, why does it stay where it is? It wasn't like this before. When passing through there, more suits would fall to the ground.

This is too bad. I wish they'd add a new little asteroid so I could go there and get some supplies. :?

There used to be someone who did a great job and understood this, probably a KLEI developer. Now it doesn't seem to matter and it gives me the feeling that it's not being cared about. I'm guessing this person was probably Eric.

Costumes should be sold in the game. If necessary, things like coal and uranium should be extra purchased with the money in the game. I don't want to lose ONI and make it seem worthless. I only wrote 1-10 items above. There are many things I can't think of, I'll take notes if necessary. Even if you miss something, mention it and I think they'll fix it.

I think solution is here.(Sorry about Japanese)

ONI is a very tangly game, so if you have any questions or trouble, I recommend to post them here.

However I perfectly agree that an update is needed It's been almost 2 months since the last update and still no Geothermal Heat Pump for Terra Asteroid KLEEEEEEEEEEEI HELLOOOOOOOO

I like Far Eastern people and Japanese, No that's not what I meant. Even if it was full, they would come there and drop their suites. But now they stand outside and wait where they are and I noticed when they peed their pants.

In this case, you have to set the Atmo Suit Checkpoint in the point of problem to "Clearance: Vacancy Only". If you set it to "Clearance: Always", Dups will drop their suite if there is no vacancy in the dock.

In this case, all Atmo Suit Checkpoints setting is correct, but since there is no vacancy dock anywhere in the base, Dup cannot pass through the Atmo Suit Checkpoints. If you want an Atmo Suit Dock to be a Vacancy dock, will not be treated as a Vacancy dock unless it is set to "Leave Empty".

They stand outside because you set the checkpoint to "vacancy only".

If you want the previous behaviour of dupes dropping their suit on the checkpoint, you have to set it to "vacancy always".

"Vacancy only" option works when you have multiple docks and exactly the same amount of atmosuits to go to docks. If you have dupes running around with an atmosuit and no empty docks, then the dupe can't go inside and that's intended behaviour. That's how "vacancy only" works

Dupes dropping things is intended behavior and no bug. The fact, they dont resume what they stopped after sleeping is too, because someone else is assigned that task along the to-do-list. so its done eventually but not immediately.

Pufts go to sleep into tiles is just cosmetic. Maybe annoying but not a problem.

A converted game cant create anything to the space map. its exclusively done at map generation.

Robo miners dont know what your dupes are doing. At all!

You need to do something manually to break something? Fine, DONT DO IT!

And the devs wont fixing something is just not true at all. They work hard. But you sir have not the tiniest bit of a clue what is involved to fix bugs.

Maybe they already did, but are in the process of testing the things they done, to avoid breaking other things along the way. You will never know.

So please, stop complaining about things you dont understand.

Either get used to some inconveniences and wait for the devs to solve them, or, if you have to refuse to do so, play something else while they work on it. There is no other solution. Screaming at the devs will get you nowhere but banned eventually i guess.

many updates in this game have had it so if you play a save from before the update, then you are given several warning screens describing whats changed

Even though you make an egoistic comment by saying "you don't understand" etc., I still want to talk constructively. I am someone who loves playing Oni. My complaints or suggestions should not demoralize you who play this game as a game.

No developers were shouted at in this matter. We are only discussing the issue related to ONI here.

I tested the "Move" Command a while ago. Yes, it puts it last in the queue as a task. This should be fixed and this should be put first.

There is a problem with the "move" command that I cannot detect. It was said above that it is added to the end of the process, but sometimes it does not work at all. This needs to be fixed.

Edit: Move Items Bugged, " Unreacable "

very bad case of micro transaction brain rot you got there, hope you get better soon

Are you trolling? Move to, yellow priority, done.

Unreachable? It's actually unreachable FOR DUPES.

nah I seem to recall there was a strange behavior where, if a dupe was moving the item and dropped it before finishing the errand, for example due to downtime, the item was marked unreachable and no dupe would pick it up again unless you cancel the move errand and queue up a new move to errand - even if the item is dropped on the floor where the dupe was walking and where it is obviously reachable by the entire colony.

I don't understand why you're going crazy. This is a topic where I write about bugs I find in the game.
How about you go and try making mods that no one else uses?
I noticed that you are good at doing things that no one else would care about.

Don't try to divert the discussion. Everything I wrote is a suggestion.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Finally, someone who understands me.

(I snipped the part where the discussion was diverted by a personal attack toward SQT_Imalas. You're welcome.)

I don't see them going crazy. They have a point. Paying for game-play impacting elements using non game-play related resources is no fun at all and is very often implemented only to extract a constant stream of revenue from customers by linking the non game-play resources to money. That's the kind of poo mobile games are renown for and it makes for their terrible value. What's next? Watch an add for water or petroleum?

Don't criticize my comment by turning it into something else. You are turning it into a discussion topic.

I mean cosmetic sales and even additional resources if necessary.

There is no additional resource sales in DTS, but for example (DTS) Dont Starve Together has this as a cosmetic.

A new dlc is probably being made, someone on steamdb quoted a screenshot. I saw this in one of the topics.

-Q What do you think about the DLCs in the game?
-Q Do you enjoy playing ONI?
Do you have all the DLCs?

Not going to quote the silliness above but wanted to state for the record that I definitely care about the mods SGT_Imalas makes. They are high quality, stable, and creative. Not to mention the broader support that SGT_Imalas provides to the modding community.

I think the negativity you seem to be objecting to is just a reflection of what you are putting out there. I guess it’s only bad when other people do it. I get that you’re frustrated, but personal attacks on the dev team (and even an individual developer ffs) are way out of line. Next time just ask for help. We can be very helpful here.

I’d also suggest that you comment in the appropriate forum. The bug report and suggestion forums exist for a reason.

I got >40k people using just one of my mods, so that alone is way more productive than you with that baseless negativity ;)
if you care so much about "not losing", play in sandbox
