Can lightbug followers be allowed to fly over cave borders now?

From my experience lightbug followers both from the Grotto and Wormwood’s alignment skill are borderline unusable in the caves because they constantly get stuck on all the jagged map borders which means they cant keep up with you and then ur left in the dark, defeating their entire purpose. 
 

now that we can build bridges over the abyss can lightbug followers also just ignore the cave biome borders please?

edit: in fact, maybe all flying followers should be allowed to fly over the void? (WX's drone/maybe Abigail and Wicker's bees? idk if attacking followers would break anything or not)

(also can player ghosts fly over the void now? please tell me they can)

Okay, sure but.. so should Bees, Mosquito’s, batalisks, Shadow Rift flying InkBlight, any and all projectiles (Gloomerang or Clockwork Bishop attack)

I don’t just want “oooo pretty light up bugs can now follow me everywhere and make caves travel easier”

I want a full caves overhaul that allows mobs on the otherside of gaps to target, and hit you if they have ranged attacks like spitter spider or bishop, or if they can fly, chase after you.

Otherwise- Little light bugs shouldn’t float over gaps either.

also, giant cave worm should probably be able to leap up and arch its way across too..

Isn't that already the case? Could've sworn projectiles could be shot through the void before.

They recon'ed that with bridges and ghost being able to fly over the gaps now.

Of course, I'm full aware of it, I'm seeing it with my own eyes xD But it's Klei we're talking about. Today is retconned, tomorrow is double retconned. I was just explaining why they couldn't before fly over the void.

Well they aren't anymore since you can bridge over them and there is falling into the void animation now.

Nothing will change.

It's always been both void and cave walls. Some of the older trailers show off the cave void.

Its just like actual caves, most are surrounded by walls, some have giant bottomless pits of doom in them!
