They're some of the wurt skills shown off/talked about in the stream.

The mosquito skills are extremely niche though from what we know of them anyway.

I have some concerns about Wurt's skill tree.

I know we just saw a few ideas without many clear stats, and it's still WIP, but mosquitos don't do any damage and don't resist attacks of anything, You can't just weaponize DST's mosquitos as they are and make it useful, unless the new items are "mosquito based" but have entirely new mechanics (EG:  summoned mosquitos divert the aggro for a while, or confuse enemies, or sickens them, or act as flying bombs, or leech life and return it to Wurt and her merms, etc).

I also hope we get more ways to command merms, and merms that can help you fishing or farming.

The whole "water boosting her" theme, like "Womp the abyssal's" mod has potential and would fit her, though.

Merms are also good candidates to be able to be given weapons.
Or instead of having to arm your whole army and make it a grindfest, Wurt could create four elite merms that are stronger, more resistant, and unlike the other merms, can wield weapons, and follow Wurt to other shards. They would be the counterpart to the elite warrior pigs of the year of the pig king.
You can still make the huge mindless army, but your elites will always be there to protect your back. They can even have specific names and be different from one another, since they are only 4.

I just don’t see the point

i know the mosquito passive item is for making it easier to craft the other mosquito items but like it’s not that difficult to catch them and why is this an item that you need to carry in your inventory that also spoils why not just make it a perk

The fertilizer seems fine and we haven’t seen the mosquito injection but I simply don’t understand the mosquito bomb; mosquitoes deal only 3 damage, and even if the bomb itself does splash damage this is just another bomb weapon basically then what’s the point? I guess the mosquitoes could be a distraction when fighting anything that doesn’t have area attack but like this is wurt she already has merms I just don’t understand the point of this in the slightest

The only use for this i see is that if you get like 50 mosquitoes then they may be distracting for single target enemies, while you can safely hit them with merms

It's really just a bit far out there conceptually.

Literally the only connection that Wurt has to mosquitos is that they both live in the swamp. Merms aren't known for practicing Mosquitomancy after all. But even on top of that, none of the crafts really have any synergy with her. I guess the healing shot could be nice sense her diet is limited. But why the bomb? How are the mosquitoes going to distract anything from the bajillion merms attacking them. And I guess the fertilizer is allright, even though it's not hard to make a self-fertilizing farm.

If you have ever based in swamp as wurt then you should know how many mosquitos sacks are on the ground from merms killing mosquitos and wurt having crafts with them is actually a great idea
also it is only 1 part of a single branch the branch that focuses on living in a swamp
I think it fits her character quite nicely

The fertilizer is trash because it is expensive and is worse than wormwoods compost wrap which is bad

Personally my main issue with the fertilizer is Wurt still has no good incentive to farm and making another seemly expensive fertilizer that's weaker than Wormwood's when he doesn't even use his for farming seems like a waste of a skill
