@Creatingabe1125I got the homemade den almost finished, but I’m waiting till after we got a concrete idea of how many spiders we’re gonna put in there to decide how many stickers there should be right now. I am thinking about two stickers but might upper depending on how many spiders we plan to put in there

What if it had 12 spiders with the inventory of a scaled chest but for spiders only, and the trinket affects all of them but the life amulet could have in total 12 revives or 1 revive per spider in the den.

The thulcite crown would have 25 uses but it’s effect would last forever on a spider until it dies. So any spider who takes 1 use from the crown will have the ability to dodge every 10 seconds for until the die.

There should be a third trinket but I can’t think of 1.

I still rather it be a rock den but ignoring that I would suggest making it made of a more sturdy material as if it’s made out of silk it feels easily attackable.

I thought you were not to look like it could break and I would assume but any other done but if you want, I could add a relocation feature when there’s no spiders in it

What about the bat bat it allows them to siphon health from enemies by biting them

I was just thinking what if the farming thing is he can grow weapons sort of a half baked idea but it’s something new

I think of 25 as a more rounded number and why does it NEED to be split evenly? It’s not like they all walk the same and die at the same time, as during the fight some may die and the rest might not.

If it’s just the pillars it looks like it could just be punched to be broken like the spider nests, and if it’s not destroyable it may be annoying.

Also the homemade den should not be portable, if there was a separate item maybe but the homemade den was just supposed to be a place to store you’re special spiders with maybe a few perks.

I like the idea of the bat bat but it would have to be balanced.

I don’t like the idea of farming weapons especially for Webber.

It’s about having enough for each one they eventually respawn And if we do it that way one extra spider get the ability next time they respawn But none of the rest do

I see you’re point but I still think 25 is more round and it doesn’t matter a lot that it’s not equal as chances are that some but not all you’re spiders will die so even if it was 24, 3 spiders could die then it’s 21, and then all of your spiders die then it’s 9, then 3 revived spiders don’t get the boost.

So an enemy that kills all your spiders could easily kill your homemade den then you have to build another one.

actually what if it was so the trinkets have unlimited uses but every spider killed makes it lose some durability and after it loses it all the effect is gone.

actually what if it was so the trinkets have unlimited uses but every spider killed makes it lose some durability and after it loses it all the effect is gone.

Maybe 10 spider deaths will cause all the trinkets to break, the trinkets could also be repaired over time with maybe extra homemade den perks in the skills. Though that feels a bit unfair as 1 aoe boss would wipe them out, 15 maybe so if all you’re spiders die from a den it’s not gone right then and could give you the time to let it regen.

I want it to be destroyed using a tool but idk what tool you would use for the tent version, maybe a razor or a hammer but it still feels attackable. Yet again tents are made of silk yet fine from damaging attacks.

How long would they take to regen

Depends on the skills you have but let say for the very least 5 days maybe or 2.5 days? But idk what it should be exactly though.

What if you had a spider plush on you’re head to become neutral to all spiders but not sure about spider queen. Similar to Witt’s mosquito plush and the rabbit hat.

Okay

probably hammer as it’s what used for most structures. And I did say razor or hammer.

just naturally or basically as soon as it loses durability.

But the homemade den is mostly silk so wouldn’t it make sense to do the razor instead

what do you think would be the perfect balance in between looking enough flex spiders that they don’t attack them and looking different enough from spiders that they aren’t able to be befriended by them

I just meant a plushie, the examples so happened to be spoil able which doesn’t make sense for the mosquito plush as the sack isn’t a perishable but I guess for balancing and maybe blood spoils outside the sack reasons.

Arts and crafts as a singular subject are related to Webber due to the den decorating kit so I wanted to expand upon that aspect of Webber through the baby spiders inheriting that quality from him as shown in the Care crafts skill

The bracelets are too similar to the accursed trinkets for me not to want to make it a similar thing due to their mutual connection to a unnatural energy and since you mentioned that some characters wouldn’t feel comfortable or dislike spiders so I’m avoiding the bracelet route 

what if instead of the bracelet it’s some craft that involves for warrior spiders and it’s like an escort

I assume you mean gaining more sanity, warmth, and health from sleeping in dens. That yes but on the ground no

actually what if they don’t lose durability at all with just the perks themselves having cooldowns and it only applies to that den, but then you would need a lot of “spider trinkets” to apply the effect to you’re whole army.

Spiders sleep on the floor when they don’t have a home, and plus gameplay wise it would be op
