Insight is profile-based, with it being intentionally designed to be carried server to server. It is indeed 'cheatable'.

If you don't want it to interfere with a particular world I believe you could create a throwaway world and do it there, then go back to the one you were playing.

160 days for max 15 insight points thats like 21hrs of ingame time... some of us dont have that much free time to unlock all the points especially if you are veteran with 3000+ hrs over the years, I dont have the patience anymore lol

The dopamine hit of unlocking new torch/beard skills would be more appealing to new players that will noticably see the benefit helping them survive when they know nothing. For pros that can craft beefalo hats and lanterns quickly, not as much.

So im glad we can cheat the insight points

I'm confused why you're quoting me, are you just making a general statement or trying to argue against something I said? Because I agree with you, XD. I think it's very silly to care about other people 'cheating', especially when the perks in question are things like... "Longer Lasting Torch" or "Faster beard growth". Hence I think it would be very silly for Klei to invest development resources into trying to make some kind of "anti-cheat" for the skill tree, oh no! Servers will be in disaster when every Wilson has... a slightly brighter torch! :p Half of the character cast are multitudes more powerful than Wilson with all his insight points.

I don’t suppose there is a command for unlocking the shadow courtier perk?

I just wanted to cheat one point, becausee when i was moving my world from beta to stable version, one point from my world was removed. Thats a waste of 10 days

I know what LongUpdate is -_- but how is using a command to get points unfair to others who are less command knowledge able? You are not supposed to use a command to get them to begin with. It's for testing. That's why you can enable free craft and god mode with commands and spawn in every entity even particle effects.

Totally Agree.

I think cheating this for people that has less than 100 hours of game time defeats the purpose of the perks, which are for you to sort of prove that you can survive in one or several worlds at least 160 days, with a reward for doing so.

If I was new to the game I'd be fair and just play the game to "earn" the perks, but of course that ends up being a decision of each player and in the end I think new players "hurt" part of the fun of discovery Klei just introduced for them, by cheating the points.
We had that discovery in other ways, back when we were learning the game and this thing didn't exist I guess. I don't feel much reward from "just surviving" 160 days which is something I've done literally hundreds of times, so I guess it's fair that the option is there for us too.
