forgot to vote willow but yes she kind of needs something, i dont know i think lighter sould not run out

wendy to make anything more some sort of needing to do something instead of letting the ghost do everything, maybe like before needing to actualy wait before summon and needing aa blood sacrifice, seems at least better then day 1 instand spawn and ghost death not having any impact

winona another rework? i dont know the flashlight thing is rather useless, i mean some sort of new machinery sould be cool

wanda, i still dont see how that was ok to release, like she is undouptly kind of broken, big damage, teleports, infinity weapon with range, like just how?

The one rework I feel felt colossally out of place was Wigfrids, I mean I really just can’t seem to like it.. especially when characters like Woodie and Wolfgang got far cooler new combat abilities then the MIGHTY VIKING (sing Baird stage Actress) Wigfrid got nothing but a few stat boosting song scrolls.

I think her “War Cry” shouldn’t have been a scroll at all but rather an ability with a cooldown, Similar to how Maxwell can send things to/pull things out of his Shadow hat without it costing any durability in doing so.

not EVERYTHING needs to have a Durability useage, and for Wigfrid the inspiration meter just falls short.. especially when it comes to the war cry scream usage.

Top that off with NOT getting the ability to throw battle spears or charge through enemy mobs spear first when Wolfgang/Woodie can and you begin to see where her rework starts to fall short.

Moving onto Willow, I think she should’ve gotten the ability to extinguish fires, and store them in her lighter (Aka Wickerbottoms fiery pen) this would’ve literally been the only thing Willow needed for her rework, yet they gave it to the character who already had 17 books that do something interesting :(

Wendy: I want the girl with a portable ghost follower to be able to do all the actions that a dead human player could do as a ghost- Simple as that.

I mean her pre nerf state was op but since then she's fine at her current power level even more so next to post rework Maxwell.

That aside I feel like Willow, Woodie, and Winona could use a refresh

if she is that broken to need a rework then half of the cast should be deleted

I mean power-wise, the weakest ones are Walter and Willow. I'd say they're the ones most deserving of buffs. I don't think they need full reworks, just a little boost.

I think the Maxwell rework was a great success. However I think that there should be other priorities at this point beyond reworks. New cave content, a new character, more ocean content, and most importantly, more skins.

idk about a full on "refresh" again, but some tweaking.

I'd like to see Walter's slingshot / ammo get a touch up.  imo it should be viable enough to be a primary weapon, not a niche tool.  Otherwise what's the point?

Winona works great for what she has, she just needs a lot lot more structures and tools she can build.  I think her downside needs to be rethought though... probably the only re-refresh needed.

All I remember from Willow's rework was BERNIE.  Did she even get anything else besides that?

Fire immunity, after the whole forums made a riot to get that.

Back to topic, IMO full re-rework, or at least strong changes (like those made recently to Wurt) would be needed on Winona and Willow.

Some buffs here and there for Warly (some unique buff for him, like longer duration of time based effects of foods for himself only) Walter (The slingshot still sucks. Woby is alright) And Woodie (Give him some buff on alter full moons, or at least some protection)

The rest are fine.

Personally I feel like most people would be satisfied if Warly had more early game special dishes and spices with ingredients not tied to farms the biggest turn off to the character for many I've played with is not wanting to farm in order to use a lot of his dishes.

Willow is kinda non lategame focused and her general uses become less convenient overtime when there's many better other solutions to light and heat and sanity. She doesn't really have any progression or much to her besides defense against hounds and nightamares if rarely sometimes when well used to deal with a couple of bosses. Neither her fire burns faster or does more damage which also is disappointing, nor there's actively any uses for her fire immunity that would prove her versatile in many combat scenarios against non fire resistant creatures.

Wicker is nice, but she's punished for reading her own books. While Maxwell is far superior now in terms of being the jack of all trades she becomes more of a quick swap character. he even benefits from this by getting more fuel, and there's solutions to casting spells in lategame.

Winona's structures rely on fuel and the range of powering those structures is miniscule. A good chunk of that fuel is also gone but also that she has practically no interaction with other DST buildings that needs fuel too to be powered which I wish to be replaced by having her structures around to do the work while her generations are intact and powering a grid. Flingo fueling and perhaps other possible structures in the future could use gears to be built and have a fuel meter to upkeep. I'd love an ice machine to return to the game perhaps. Or some fresh water pump to gather fresh water from deep below surface for farming purposes. Maybe sprinklers to be in place someday.

Webber's cookies just suck. Period. They're expensive and getting those special spiders is a hassle. Cave spiders mainly are best ones and I'd love an army of spitters to do the DPS, but an issue comes up. They don't have a storage solution. After you leave they become Wild again. If I could, I'd fence them in and keep them, but klei has to make spiders without homes perhaps not attack fences at all, as if they keep it for protection or something. Or have a dwelling for them to stay. Even Wurt has a slightly more decent ways to handling her own merms.

Personally I'd enjoy if spice stations didn't need to you put individual ingredients for him to spice them up and instead they'd load up with spice and you'd just click with the food you wish to spice up and it'll do the work. Loading in, harvesting and all are repetitive and painful for fingers and mental. That kind of grind I hate about his gameplay which really sucks to be honest cause it's like trying to cook up 40 of some kind of food in crockpots all over again. Unless you rely on mods.

Honestly Willow and Winona really need something more.

Willow just has a lighter and Bernie and their novelty falls off the more you progress. So a mid or late game type of version would be nice.

For Winona I just want more buildings.

The Willow Rework: Aww aren’t you cute little guy? *cuddles Larvae and smoothers out it’s fire*

The Winona Rework 12 new inventions but you can still swap her out and play as someone else using them.

I think it would be nice if instead of just carrots, other vegetables would grow naturally around the land.

Maybe they can be different according to location, and each vegetable will regrow in their specific season (EG: dragonfruit near the lava ponds, tomato and potato in pig villages, carrots in bunny villages, garlic in forests, onions in deciduous area,  pepper in deserts, etc).

So early game Warly could cook interesting stuff, by exploring.

Winona need some more craft, she an engineer she should have more thing to build, that what make people like engineer characters in games, it's because of their craft that make them unique, she need atleast 2-4 more craft that aren't power generator, she seem to also be into architecture so maybe she craft a house or something, also she should need less material to craft stuff since she an engineer, and also maybe she can upgrade certain structures or items to be factory standard quality.

I prefer to get other new content than re-refreshed of the characters. Such as new creatures, decorations, bosses, terrain, etc. Because not all players play the refreshed character, but new content can be enjoyable for everyone.

Good point.

Maybe some tweaks here and there to some characters that could use them, but the priority should be new content
