Waoling Posted October 5, 2022 Share Posted October 5, 2022 The stage is really interesting so maybe we can get more masks and playbills in the future, maybe a playbill for the RoT season 1 or one about the back story of Pearl, I like the stage but it would be a little boring to play the act the same story over and over again, maybe you could add new playbills in QoL update or alongside the major one. It would be very wasteful if the whole setpiece is just for what we have right now. Oh also, the next story arc is called "Setting the Stage". So, I expect more theatre play in the future! Playbill Table already has a feature that allows players to replace the doll's story playbill with a new playbill, and you get a doll's story playbill in the item form. Setting the stage is what Klei refers to as the prologue updates leading up to the next line of content updates/story arc. We've had them for RoT and ANR as well. As others have mentioned: Setting the Stage is the name of the current updates (Moon Quay) And honestly unless someone at Klei confirms it: We have no idea if the “A little Bit of Drama” update is part of those 3 setting the stage updates, or if it was just thrown in as something extra alongside the Planned QoL. I would Assume that is one of the 3 setting the stage updates, because we literally just “set a stage” but… at the same time Setting the Stage Updates are supposed to lead into the next (currently unnamed) big story Arch for the game (Aka continuing where Eye of the Storm left off) My Question is What ties Curse of Moon Quay to this new Drama Update.. and why these two updates were needed to and I quote “lay down the foundation for what’s to come in the future.”?? If someone has found ANY sort of connection between Moon Quay and Little but of Drama please do share your findings.. I’m not completely convinced this Drama update IS part of the setting the stage updates though- Mr JoeW said they wanted to do something a bit new and different, new would imply that this was maybe just thrown in as an In-Game way of learning a bit of Lore, and it has no connection at all to Curse of Moon Quay or the other Setting the Stage updates meant to lead into whatever the next Arch is for DST.
